ARISE!AWAKE! AN EXHIBITION ON SWAMI VIVEKANANDA -2023

 

On 23^rd November, 2023, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya organized the"ARISE!AWAKE!AN EXHIBITION ON SWAMI VIVEKANANDA" &ARTS, MATHS ,SCIENCE & CRAFT EXHIBITION( UDAAN )  to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mann Eknath Ranadeji, the founder of Vivekananda Kendra Kanya Kumari & Vivekananda  Rock Memorial. The event was inaugurated by the esteemed Guest of Honor, Amarjit Singh Saini, and the Chief Guest, Dheeraj Kumar Singh, DEO, Rangat. Students, divided by shifts, presented an array of exhibits in six rooms.

                                                     

                                                    The exhibition featured diverse projects, including models

demonstrating the Rotation of the Earth, Chandrayaan-3, Suriyayaann, Math Problem-Solving Puzzles, an eco-friendly and modern village model, matchstick puzzles, wireless power transmission, hydrogen peroxide, and rainwater harvesting.

                                                In addition to the scientific displays, language-themed rooms showcased Models and Cutouts, such as Alphabet Fall, Idiom Fish, a Snowman displaying articles, nouns and their types, a turtle featuring opposite words, watermelon cutouts illustrating phrases, and charts of synonyms and antonyms. The craft room was  decorated by various handmade things made by the students.

To provide insight into school-driven activities, the last room featu
red a projector presentation. Parents from all classes enthusiastically attended the exhibition, enjoying the diverse displays alongside their families. The exhibition concluded at 3:00 pm, marking a successful and engaging event for students, parents, and the entire school community.

SADHANA DIWAS CELEBRATION - 2023

 Eknath Ramakrishna Ranade (19 November 1914 – 22 August 1982) was a social activist and leader that led the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

Having joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) while he was still in the school, he went on to become an organiser and leader for the organisation, rising through its ranks to serve as its general secretary from 1956 to 1962.

Ranade was greatly influenced by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, and compiled a book of Vivekananda's writings.

During the 1963–72 period, Ranade played an instrumental role in the construction of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the Vivekananda Kendra at Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu.

Sadhna Diwas was observed at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rangat on 20^th  Nov. 2023, to commemorate  Mananeeya  Eknath Ranade .

Portrait of Man. Eknath Ranade was beautifully decorated with flowers. The lamp was lit and kept. Our  Principal paid tribute by offering flowers to the portrait of Mananeeya Eknathji. A group of students sang the song 'Hum Anuyagi Eknath Ke' to honor Eknathji. As part of the commemoration, a short documentary film highlighting the foundation of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial was presented to the students. CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION - 2023>

                                                              

  Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rangat, joyously celebrated Children's Day on 14th November .India’s  First Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru was born on 14^th November as he liked the children, this day is being celebrated as “ Children’s Day”.  Our honorable Principal  Shri Ch. Shanmuga  Rao offered floral tribute to the great leader . The program began with a wonderful speech by  Miss Sila Das (Teacher). Kritika Paul of class VI presented a speech on Jawaharlal Nehru, followed by a harmonious group song performed by our talented students of class VII.

The program  continued with an enchanting patriotic dance presented by  K Hansha & Group ( C- VI). Bristi Biswas , of class II ,  charmed everyone with her speech on Chacha Nehru. Kyna Halder & and Diti Biswas of C-IV  showcased beautiful solo performances.

Aditi from class V  added grace with a beautiful dance, and                                                                                                                                                               Rishikesh of C-V

 performed a soulful patriotic song. Shazzil Ahmed, Shiza Aziz, Bhoomika, and Arnab Halder from classes VI to VIII delivered speeches on 'Jawaharlal Nehru'

 

The program was concluded with the offering of flowers to the portrait of Chacha Nehru.

GANDHI JAYANTHI CELEBRATION - 2023>

 Vivekananda  Kendra Vidyalaya

  

Rangat, celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Sastri Jayanti on  2^nd October 2023 in the morning in the school premises. The  Principal, Shri CH. Shanmuga Rao , paid homage and highlighted the contributions of the great

leaders. Miss Sushma Das (Teacher) delivered a speech about the Great Soul, Mahatma Gandhi. 

One of our student, Nithin Thankachan (C-IX)   delivered a beautiful speech  about "Mahatma Gandhi".All teachers  sang  Ramdhun.  Our Principal sang  Ram Bhajan & Patriotic song which was enjoyed by all. Students from avarious classes sang songs from padawali. At last students and staff offered flowers and sweets were distributed among them.

 

GANESH CHATURTHI CELEBRATION - 2023>

 Vivekananda Kendra vidyalaya, Rangat celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great pomp and gaiety.

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, 

the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. The festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Ganeshotsav.

The session started with a traditional lamp lighting and Aarthi. Children performed devotional bhajans. The Principal, Sri  CH.Shanmuga Rao said  that one should not forget the culture, tradition and importance of celebrating festivals. Kyna Haldar and Diti  Sahay from Class IV performed a devotional dance, and  Akshra from Class IV also performed a dance. Students and staff offered flowers and prashad was distributed among all.

CELEBRATION OF UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY -2023

 Universal Brotherhood Day is observed on 11 September annually around the world to honour the historic speech delivered by Swami Vivekananda on this day in 1893 in Chicago to the delegates of the World Parliament of Religions. Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rangat, observed U.B.Day with a lot of joy and excitement.

The chief guest for the event was Dr. Bindu Kumar. Parents, SMC members and PTA members were present to witness the program. The entire program was organized by Veer Savarkar House.

The event commenced with a wonderful welcome dance performance by Diti Sahay  and Kyna Halder of C-IV.

Following the dance performance, Bishnu  Pada Biswas (Teacher) delivered an address for the day. Two students were attired as  Swami Vivekananda  and elaborated on his profound thoughts. Next, Jui Dutta from Class IX attired as  Swami Vivekananda  and delivered his Chicago address. A delightful group song was performed by the students. Prizes from various competitions, which were organized in honor of Universal Brotherhood Day, were distributed to our students by our esteemed chief guest. A skit was performed by the students, portraying the life incidents of Swami Vivekananda. House-wise dance competitions were conducted. The chief guest addressed the significance of the day, emphasizing its importance. Finally, the program was concluded with the distribution of prizes by the  Chief Guest & the Principal .

JANMASTAMI CELEBRATION - 2023>

 

KRISHNAN JANMASTAMI was joyously celebrated in our school VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYAK RANGAT , with great fervor and enthusiasm. The event was organised by MADAN LAL  DHINGRA HOUSE & addressed by  Miss TANUSHREE(Teacher), who emphasized the significance of this auspicious day.

The festivities commenced with a delightful fancy dress competition. Students from KGI, KG II, Class 1, and Class 2 were participated in the competition. The young participants showcased their creativity and enthusiasm, bringing various characters associated with Lord Krishna. KRITIKA PAUL, a student of Class V, delivered a heartfelt speech, on the importance of Krishnan Janmastami.

A wonderful classical dance performance was  performed by DITI  SAHAY AND KYNA HALDER  from Class IV.

House wise Krishna bhajans were presented by the different houses. SHRADDHA, a student of Class V, performed ring dance. A thought-provoking skit was performed by Madan lal  Dhingra House, showcasing incidents from Lord Krishna's life.

 TRISHA DHANWAR  of class IX & DHANVI DHANWAR of class IV performed an energetic  dance. At last , all students offered flowers to Lord Krishna symbolizing their devotion.The celebration was concluded with the distribution of prashad.
