WINNERS OF VARIOUS CONTESTS

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya  Rangat ,is very much  proud to congratulate Rudra Kirtania of class III participated in General Knowledge International Olympiad competition, held in academic year 2022-23 & received Certificate of Merit & has scored State Rank - 67 organized by Indian Talent Olympiad


                                                                                                                                                               

YUVA UTSAV2023-24 (INDIA @ 2047 ORGANISED BY NEHRU YUVA KENDRA ,RANGAT 

  Om Biswas of Class IX secured 1st position & received cash prize of Rs 1000 with certificate & Hemal Halder of class IX  secured 2nd position & received cash prize of Rs 750 with certificate in   Photography contest & workshop organised at District level by Yuva Utsav - India@2047, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Ministry of  Youth Affairs and Sports.

Guru Purnima: Guru Purnima holds an immense significance among Hindus as it is one of the most important day in Sanatan Dharma. This day is celebrated to commemorate the importance of Guru or teacher. People worship Guru on this auspicious day. As per Drik Panchang, Guru Purnima is celebrated on 
Purnima Tithi (Full Moon Day) in the month of Ashadha. This year, Guru Purnima is being celebrated today, on July 3, 2023.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rangat celebrated “Guru Purnima” on3rd  July .The programme was organised by  the members of Ganga House.our honourable Principal  , Shri Ch . Shanmuga Rao
 inaugurated the function by enlighting the lamp. After that he delivered a wonderful speech about “Guru Purnima”
. After that, Students of Ganga house presented a beautiful song. Areet Mondal of class class X , delivered speech on ' Role of Guru in our life' .A short and meaningful skit performed by the students of Ganga House related to the importance of Guru.A brief speech was presented by  Miss Anushri Das (teacher ). All teachers were honoured with bouquets by the students. At last Principal sir explained the importance of Guru in our life. Guru bhajans was sung by our student lead by Principal sir and many other guru bhajans were sung by students.The programme  was concluded with offering flowers by everyone including both students and teachers

   INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA

The International Day of Yoga has been celebrated across the world annually on June 21 since 2015, following its inception in the United Nations General Assembly in 2014.Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice which originated in ancient India. An invaluable gift of ancient Indian tradition, Yoga has emerged as one of the most trusted means to boost physical and mental well-being. The word "Yoga" is derived from the Sanskrit root yj meaning "to join", "to yoke" or "to unite", symbolizing the unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between human and nature, and a holistic approach to health and well-being.

keeping in mind, VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA FAMILY RANGAT, celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm. Students , parents and  staff  participated in  various yoga Asanas  and  in some warm up exercises . Importance of  doing yoga & Exercise were explained simultaneously. Demonstration was  given by  the Principal CH. Shanmuga Rao, Shri  Anand Rao sir(science Teacher) &  Mr. Ayan Mondal (Maths Teacher).
