TEACHERS'DAY CELEBRATION 2026-27


* Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence at VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA on 5th September 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great philosopher, scholar, and former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Ji.

* The programme was dedicated to honouring the invaluable contribution of teachers and expressing gratitude for their guidance, wisdom, and selfless service.

*LIGHTING OF THE DIYA AND PUSHPANJALI:*

* The celebration commenced with ceremonial lamp lighting and offering of flowers by the HOI and other staff.

* The ceremony symbolised the dispelling of ignorance through the light of knowledge and wisdom.

*CULTURAL PERFORMANCE BY THE STUDENTS:*

* The highlight of the programme was a beautiful dance performance presented by the students. The performance portrayed the profound relationship between Gurus as Parents, beautifully conveying that teachers, like parents, nurture, guide, protect, and inspire their children. The heartfelt presentation touched everyone’s emotions and created a deeply moving atmosphere.

*BOUQUET PRESENTATION AS A TOKEN OF LOVE:*

* The most touching moment of the celebration was the felicitation ceremony.

* Each teacher was invited on the stage and was presented with bouquet prepared by the students as a token of love and gratitude.

*ADDRESS: BY THE HOI:* 

* The programme moved ahead with an enlightening address by the HOI .He highlighted the importance of teachers in building responsible individuals and a better society. He also emphasised the duties and responsibilities of teachers and reminded everyone that teaching is not merely a profession but a noble responsibility towards shaping the future generation.

*PUSHPANJALI AND BLESSINGS:*

* All the students from Balvatika to class X offered Pushpanjali to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as a mark of respect and remembrance. The students then sought the blessings of their teachers, expressing their heartfelt gratitude for their constant guidance, support, and encouragement.

*CONCLUSION:*

* The Teachers’ Day celebration was a memorable and meaningful occasion that filled the entire school with a spirit of gratitude, respect, and devotion towards teachers.

* The programme beautifully reflected the timeless bond between Guru and Shishya and reminded everyone of the noble role teachers play in shaping the lives of their students.

* The celebration concluded at about 11:30 am,on a solemn and grateful note, leaving everyone inspired to value and respect their teachers. 

* A total of 15 teachers along with 151 children witnessed the celebration.




















SHREE KRISHNA JANMASTMI CELEBRATION 26-27


on the auspicious and spiritually enriching morning hours of 4th SEPTEMBER 2026, VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT celebrated Bhagawan Shree 

KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI, the festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna,with great devotion and enthusiasm. 

*AARTI AND FLORAL TRIBUTES TO LORD KRISHNA:*

The celebration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the HOI, SHRI CH SHANMUGA RAO. He performed the Aarti & offered flowers under the holy feet of lord Krishna, seeking blessings for the well-being, happiness, and prosperity of everyone present.

*SPEECH BY THE TEACHER:*

Following the Aarti, an inspiring speech on the significance of Krishna Janmashtami was beautifully delivered by one of our teachers Miss *SHILPI MAL*. She explained the values and teachings associated with Lord Krishna and narrated the fascinating story of the Govardhan Mountain Leela, highlighting Krishna’s divine powers and His protection of the people of Vrindavan.

*FANCY DRESS COMPETITION:* 

The celebration then moved ahead with the Fancy Dress Competition for the blossoming buds of Balvatika and Class -I.They looked adorable as they dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha. Each participant introduced themselves and confidently presented their characters, filling the atmosphere with joy and innocence.

*CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA:* 

The cultural programme continued with enthusiastic bhajan chanting and dance performances by all the four school houses—*RANI LAXMI BAI, SAROJINI NAIDU, KALPANA DUTT & NANA SAHEB* Each house presented a unique dance performance depicting different episodes from the life and divine leelas of Lord Krishna,creating a peaceful and spiritually uplifting atmosphere. The HOI appreciated the sincere efforts, creativity, confidence, and enthusiastic participation of all the students.

*CONCLUSION:*

The celebration concluded at about 10: 45 am with offerings of flowers and Prasad Distribution.

Overall the Krishna Janmashtami celebration was a memorable and spiritually enriching event. It provided students with an opportunity to learn about Lord Krishna’s life and teachings while expressing themselves through music, dance, drama, and devotional activities. Collectively 137 Students and 19 staff   seeked the divine blessings of Bhagwan Shree Krishna.
