VIDYA PRAVESH UTSAV 2026-2027
VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT celebrated *PRAVESH UTSAV* on 1st April 2026 with great enthusiasm and joy to warmly welcome the new students of Balvatika and Class I
.The program was organized to create a friendly and comfortable environment for the young learners on their first day of school.
The celebration began with a warm welcome of the students at the school entrance.
* The children were greeted with tilak, flowers, and smiles, making them feel special and happy.
* The campus was beautifully decorated with balloons, rangoli, and colorful charts.
* A short welcome program was conducted where teachers introduced themselves and interacted with the children in a fun and engaging manner.
* The tiny tots were given small gifts and chocolate to make their day memorable.
* The main aim of the program was to remove fear and anxiety among children and help them adapt easily to the new school environment.
* A total of 17 children( 6 from Balvatika & 11 from class - I ) were present.

INTRODUCTION:
A three day Personality Development Camp was organized by VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT
from 23rd to 25th March 2026, specially designed for the students of classes VI & VII .
* The main objectives of the camp were to foster holistic development among children by enhancing their self confidence, discipline and to instill moral and ethical values through structured educational, interactive and value based activities.
*DAY WISE REPORT:*
*DAY -1( ON 23rd MARCH 2026)*
*INAUGURAL FUNCTION & FOUNDATIONAL ACTIVITIES:*
* The camp commenced with an inaugural session graced by the Chief Guest Smti SUSAN ,Child Development Project Officer, Rangat , SHRI PREMANANDA BACHAR , SMC MEMBER & SMTI SUNDARI BASKARAN, well wisher.
* The Chief Guest delivered an engaging and inspiring address based on personality development.
* A brief report about the camp was read out by MISS ANAMIKA MONDAL ( teacher).
* Shibir Parichay & Gana Parichay was done by the HOI , SHRI CH SHANMUGA RAO.
* The Shibir Geet of the camp was “Chale Nirantar Chintan Mantan..... ".
* Various Pragmatic and interactive sessions were organised on the first day of the shibir.
DAY -2 (ON 24th MARCH 2026):
The second day of the Shibir, started with yoga session. Children practiced sidhilikaran and surya namaskar. Resource person for Satra-1 of 24 th March was Shri KRISHNENDRA GARAMI , Health Educator, CHC RANGAT.He highlighted the importance of maintaining personal hygiene, adopting healthy lifestyle practices etc.Resource persons for Satra - 2 were Shri S. EGNASIUS KULLU, SHRI NIRANJAN TIRKEY & SHRI BHAGAWAN SINGH from Fire brigate department. They provided valuable information on fire safety, precautionary measures and responses during emergencies.Satra -3 , Quiz on Swami Vivekananda , flaunted the intellectual development among the children.It was a very informative session for them.
DAY -3, ON 25 th MARCH 2026:
The third & concluding day of the shibir started with yoga session.
Various sessions like learning by doing seem to be a real asset / good bet for the children.
CLOSING CEREMONY:
The camp concluded with a valedictory function held at school auditorium at about 2:00 pm, some of the children shared their Shibir Anubhav in front of parents .A PPT based on the three days' activities was projected .
FACILITIES AND ARRANGEMENTS:
The camp was conducted in a well structured manner with adequate arrangements made for the convenience of the children. Refreshments and lunch were served on all the three days under the support of all staff.
A total of 26 children benefitted through the Shibir.

OBJECTIVE:
To uphold the cultural tradition of honoring one’s mother as a divine figure..
INTRODUCTION:
Maatru Puja, a sacred ritual dedicated to honoring mothers, was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm at VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT on 2nd JANUARY 2026.
A SACRED TRIBUTE TO MOTHER:
The event aimed to instill values of gratitude, respect, and love in children ,to uphold the cultural tradition of honoring one’s mother as a divine figure by recognizing the selfless sacrifices of their mothers.
Mothers of all participating students were invited, making it a heartwarming and emotional occasion.
AN EMOTIONAL AND HEARTWARMING GATHERING:
* Children performed the traditional feet-washing ritual, symbolizing respect and devotion.
* They applied Tilak on their mothers’ foreheads and offered flowers as a mark of reverence.
* Vedic hymns and mantras were chanted, creating a serene spiritual atmosphere.
* Students took blessings from all teachers & pandit ji.
CONCLUSION WITH MOTHER'S BLESSINGS & COMMUNITY BREAKFAST
* The event concluded with mothers blessing their children, followed by a *Community Break fast*.The event was an overwhelming success, leaving a lasting impression on both students and parents.
* Many mothers became emotional, expressing their joy at being honored in such a meaningful way.
* The students learned valuable life lessons about gratitude, humility, and the significance of family bonds.Maatru Puja was a beautiful and inspiring event that reinforced the values of respect, love, and devotion toward parents.
* The celebration served as a reminder of the selfless sacrifices made by mothers and emphasized the importance of expressing gratitude in everyday life.
* A total of 36 Students, 21 Staff & 17 parents witnessed the event.

*OBJECTIVE:*
TO CELEBRATE 77TH REPUBLIC DAY
*INTRODUCTION:*
On the auspicious morning hours of 26th January 2026 , our Vidyalaya celebrated 77th Republic day with Pomp and Gaiety along with Patriotic Fervor. The school campus was beautifully adorned with national flags and naturally availing flowers.
*PRABHAT FERI:*
The celebration began early in the morning with a Prabhat Feri. Students marched through nearby areas holding the national flag and singing patriotic naras. The rally spread the message of unity, peace, and love for the nation.
*FLAG HOISTING CEREMONY:*
After Prabhat Pheri, in presence of gleeful gathering, our HoI unfurled the national Flag, a symbol of Bharat's Independence at 7:30 am and the entire gathering sang the National Anthem in unison, creating a powerful atmosphere of unity.
*CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA AT SCHOOL AUDITORIUM:* A vibrant cultural program was organized in the school hall. The program was inaugurated by the HoI by paying floral tribute to Jagat Janani Bharat Maata along with the song *Aarati Bharat Maata Ki ....* Sung by all.
*SPEECHES BY TEACHERS AND STUDENTS:*
Following the flag unfurling, one of our teachers Smti S. Indira delivered a speech highlighting the importance of the day and *Gaurik* of Class V and *Akhilesh Kumar* of class VIII also delivered speeches highlighting the significance of Republic Day, the importance of the Indian Constitution, and the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. The speeches inspired students to be responsible and patriotic citizens.
*PATRIOTIC SONG BY TEACHERS:*
All teachers presented a patriotic song, which filled the atmosphere with national pride and enthusiasm. The performance was appreciated by the students and added grace to the celebration.
*ADDRESS BY THE HOI:*
The respected HoI Shri *CH SHANMUGA RAO* , addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of punctuality, discipline, honesty, and dedication in students’ lives. The Principal encouraged students to follow the values of the Constitution and contribute positively to society and the nation by doing their duties.
*CONCLUSION:*
The celebration concluded peacefully with the Shanti Paath & Floral tributes by students and staff , spreading a message of harmony, peace, and goodwill.A total of 181 people (160 students along with 21 Staff) witnessed the programme.
