OBJECTIVE:TO CELEBRATE SWAMI VIVEKANANDA JAYANTI 

OBSERVATION AT SCHOOL:

On the auspicious morning hours of 12th January 2026, at about 8:30 am VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT observed the 163 rd birth anniversary of SWAMI VIVEKANANDA at school in a peaceful and divine atmosphere.All Staff paid floral tributes to the great philosopher and the spiritual leader.

GRANDEUR CELEBRATION AT ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE AUDITORIUM:

On the auspicious evening of 12th January 2026 at about 4 pm ,VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT celebrated SWAMI VIVEKANANDA JAYANTI  & NATIONAL YOUTH DAY with great zeal and enthusiasm. The program was held at ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE Auditorium,RANGAT, N & M Andaman. The Chief Guest for the event was Shri VIKASH KUMAR, DANICS, Assistant Commissioner, Rangat, Middle Andaman and Guest of Honour was DR. SUSHIM KUMAR BISWAS Deputy Education Officer & Smti R. BARKHA Assistant Conservator of Forests, Middle Andaman, graced the occasion as a Special Guest. Parents, SMC & PTA members , well wishers and other dignitaries were also invited to witness the program.

ARRANGMENT OF THE HALL:

The hall was beautifully adorned with colourful lights, banners & flowers creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere. Proper seating arrangements, stage decoration, and sound systems were well managed, ensuring comfort and clarity for the audience. 

INAUGURAL CEREMONY:

After a warm welcome of the Guests and dignitaries in a traditional way,The function began with lighting of the lamp by the Guests alongwith Eikkiya Mantra followed by the school prayer . Smti BINITA PANNA delivered a warm welcome address, which outlined the significance of the Day after which the students performed a beautiful welcome dance.

KEY NOTE ADDRESS:

Our Special Guest Smti. R. BARKHA Assistant Conservator of Forests , M. Andaman,delivered an insightful keynote address, focusing on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and the significance of Samarth Bharat Parv in fostering a strong and self-reliant India.

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY:

The program then moved to the prize distribution ceremony, during which mementos were presented to the Guests as a token of gratitude. They also distributed prizes to the achievers.

CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA:

The cultural program that followed , showcased diverse performances, starting with a welcome dance *Ganesh Vandhana* followed by a mesmerizing performance by the blossoming buds of Balvatika I & II for the song O my Friend Ganesha ... ,a classical dance Vande Mataram by Class II children and a beautiful dance performance Tara Rambham Tara Rambham ... by the Balvatika -3 children .

* This was followed by another round of prize distribution. 

* Other captivating performances included a skit based on the life incidents of Swami Vivekananda, Bengali dance & Assamese folk dance, Tamil - Telugu Fusion dance, Malayalam dance etc.A pyramid formation by students was a special highlight, showcasing their teamwork and discipline. 

CONCLUSION:

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Smti BINDHU K , one of our teachers followed by Shanti Path, leaving the audience inspired and appreciative of the vibrant cultural celebration.The event was a grand success, fostering unity and reflecting the values of Swami Vivekananda. A total of 500 people including Students, Staff, PTA & SMC Members , Other dignitaries and Community Members witnessed the program.

SAMSKAR VARGA FOR CHILDREN


KARYA PADHAT: Bal Samskar Varga

ORGANISED BY: VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT 

  

INTRODUCTION:

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT organised Samskar Varga on 8th December 2025 at about 10:50 am for the children from Class -I to V , with the objective of nurturing positive values and shaping the character of young students. The program focused on the holistic development of children, including moral, emotional, and social growth.  

 The session commenced with three omkaras and Sahana bhavathu..

SALIENT FEATURES OF SAMSKAR VARGA:


LOOSENING EXERCISES AND YOGA ABHYAS

Children performed some loosening exercises and practiced some asanas such as Ardha Katti Chakrasan & Vrukshasan* under the demonstration of Smti Bindu K & Mr Rakesh Kr Das

CHANTING OF NARAS

Children Chanted Patriotic Naras which was led by Mr. SUMEET KR SARKAR.

GAMING SESSION:

Interactive game encouraging sharing, cooperation, and teamwork was conducted.Participants played an interesting game Hathi Ghoda Balki Jai Gannaiya Lalki......

SHORT MORAL STORY TELLING

To instill honesty, kindness, and truthfulness among children, a short story based on Mahaveer Narasimha was narrated by Smti K. BINDHU

CONCLUSION:

The session concluded at around 11: 30 am with Shanti Paat followed by Prarthana with active participation of 38 Children along with 4 staff.

Overall, The SAMSKAR Varga proved to be a joyful and meaningful experience for Balvatika children.









KENDRA VARGA FOR STAFF


VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT co-ordinated Kendra Varga on 29th November 2025 in the school premises at about 2:00 pm with the purpose of providing teachers in imparting value based education & in supporting holistic development of children. The session commenced with three Om karas and Shanti Mantra. This deliberate invocation served to harmonise the collective mind and set a spiritual foundation for the day's proceedings.

SALIENT FEATURES OF THE EVENT:

Today's Kendra Varga session, featured with thoughtfully designed sequence of activities to build values and discipline among all. They are as follows 

LOOSENING EXERCISES:

The physical component of the Kendra Varga began with loosening exercises such as Triceps strech, Stress Trunk Twist & Side bending aimed at mobilising the spine and promoting core flexibility. 

YOGASANAS :

Following the preparatory phase, the focus shifted to specific Yogasanas such as Ardha Ustrasana (Half Camel Pose) & Mandukasana (Frog Pose).These practices ensured both physical rejuvenation and mental alertness.

AGYA ABHYAS:

The spiritual and intellectual core of the session was delivered by Mr. Rakesh Kr Das , with different Agyas such as " Nischalo Bhava , Sustito Bhava , Swasto Bhava , Artha Vallabham, Vaama Vallabham , Dhakshina Vallabham etc.


KHEL SESSION:(Energising Activity )

To foster camaraderie and to break the intellectual intensity, an invigorating group game *Fire in the Mountain Run Run Run.....* was organised . A lively value-based game added enjoyment while reinforcing the moral values among all.

DESH BHAKTI GEET (PATRIOTIC SONG):

The cultural element was uplifted by the rendition of a patriotic song "Jannai Janambhumi Swarg se Mahan hai......" was beautifully led by Mr. SUMEET KR BISWAS. 

INSIGHTFUL DELIBERATION: (Group Discussion)

A session for deep reflection was held through a structured Group Discussion based on the topic* "Many Forms of Mother"* from the book "Shining Stars and Smiling Flowers"by Sushri NIVEDITA RAGUNATH BHIDE didi, Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari.

The deliberation was rich and multifaceted, exploring the profound theme of motherhood—in its literal, divine, and national context. Participants shared diverse perspectives, concluding with a heightened appreciation for the nurturing power of Shakti in all its manifestations.


 *CONCLUSION:*


The Kendra Varga concluded at about 2:50 pm with the powerful Shanti Mantra & Prarthana .

Today ' s Kendra Varga was a complete and impactful experience for all teachers, successfully blending physical discipline, intellectual stimulus, and spiritual awakening with the active participation of 16 teachers.







SPORTS'DAY CELEBRATION AS ON 6TH DECEMBER 2025

INTRODUCTION:

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT celebrated its 21st ANNUAL ATHLETICS MEET on 6th December 2025 with great excitement, admist thrills, shrills and cheers.

To ensure smooth conduct, several preliminary events—including heats for Jumping race, Frog Race 100 mtr & 50 mtr sprints, Ball Throw and needle race were held on the previous day.

On the main day the 6th December , parents arrived early, followed by the arrival of Chief Guest for the Opening Ceremony, Shri MOHD SAMEER, SHO, Police Station, Rangat & Guest of Honour SHRI BASUDEV BAIRAGI JE, APWD, SABARI, RANGAT . 

Principal, staff, and student council welcomed the Chief Guests in a traditional way with bouquets and escorted them to the dais.

The event aimed to promote physical fitness, team spirit, and a healthy competitive spirit among the students. .

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:

INAUGURATION CEREMONY:

The programme began with the welcome speech by our HoI, followed by the traditional lighting of the torch. The School Captain ran with the torch across the field and lit the Sports Flame, symbolising teamwork and determination. This was followed by a march-past by students of all houses, showcasing perfect coordination and discipline. The Chief Guest declared the Annual Sports Meet open.The atmosphere was charged with excitement as participants geared up for the upcoming events.

CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZAS:

The ground came alive with rhythmic aerobics, traditional lezium, and a coordinated dumbbells drill. Cheers from parents made the performers even more confident.

ATHLETIC EVENTS:

An adorable segment for Balvatika 1, 2, and 3 followed. Children participated in Jumping race ,Duck Race & Sweet Collection . Their confidence and innocence made the audience cheer loudly.

 The main events featured with Mathematics Race, ,Shirt Wearing Race , Skipping race, Balancing Race and Sack race & Sprints. * Each event showcased teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition.The participants displayed remarkable sportsmanship, and other students cheered enthusiastically. showcasing the talent and teamwork of the participating students. 

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION:

In between the events, the prize distribution ceremony was held. The Chief Guest honoured the winners with medals and certificates and appreciated the efforts of students and teachers. 

CLOSING CEREMONY:

SMTI R. BARKHA, ACF, RANGAT was the Chief Guest & SHRI PREMANANDA BACHAR,SMC Member of our Vidyalaya was the Guest of Honour for the closing ceremony .The closing ceremony included a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone involved in organizing and participating in the event. The students and faculty members were encouraged to continue promoting sports and physical fitness as an integral part of their academic journey.

CONCLUSION:

 The Sports Day at our Vidyalaya was a resounding success, fostering a sense of unity, teamwork, and healthy competition among the college community. The event not only showcased the athletic prowess of the participants but also highlighted the importance of sports in overall personality development. *Mount Thullier* emerged as Overall Champion, with 121 Points. A total of 400 People witnessed and enjoyed the event.

*ARRIVAL OF MANNANEEYA BHANUDAS JI:*

On the auspicious afternoon hours of 25th November 2025, *MANNANEEYA BHANUDAS JI* along with *SUSRI VARSHA B DIDI* *SHRI RAMACHANDRA VENUGOPAL BHAIYA* arrived at VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT.The School welcomed them warmly in a traditional way with a bouquet, symbolising respect and gratitude for their valuable time. 

POWERPOINT PROJECTIONS BY THE TEACHERS*

* A special meeting was convened with the Guests at about 1pm.The meeting commenced with Shanti Paat followed by a brief introduction by the HoI about the agenda of the meeting.

* Teachers from Balvatika -I to class X presented comparative result analysis of previous and current academic years, noting improvements in foundational subjects and highlighting areas that required attention.

* BHANUDAS ji enquired the about the sudden decrease in academic performance and also advised the teachers to pay individual attention on below average students.

Another important aspects of the presentation focused on *Spoken English*. Teachers elaborated on the current speaking abilities of students, their progress in vocabulary, fluency, pronunciation, and overall confidence. They also discussed future prospects and strategies such as peer learning, daily conversation practice, storytelling, and structured English sessions that are expected to strengthen communication skills further.

* Teachers also showcased the academic experiments and student achievements. Various innovative classroom practices, science experiments, project-based learning outcomes, and participation in competitions were shared.

 The progress of *Chotte Scientist Activities* was presented, emphasising hands-on learning and curiosity-driven experiments conducted by young learner. 

 Teachers shared Academic Experiments and Students Achievements in various subjects.Co-curricular activities, Chhote Scientist projects, flagship programme and the meaningful use of Bagless Days were also highlighted. The team also reported the progress of Gruha Sampark and the activities done under the Holistic Progress Card.

INTERACTION & SUGGESTIONS:

Throughout the Presentations, the officials listened carefully and offered valuable suggestions after each topic. 

 During the teachers ' Presentation, Mann . BHANUDAS ji interacted with them and gave suggestions based on their presentation.

* He enquired about the performance decrease of children in academics and asked the teachers to pay keen attention on the concerned children.

* He suggested the teachers to ask children to write the maximum number of words that children know in their notes .

* He also suggested to use the classroom environment and concrete objects in teaching - learning processes.

* Suggested to increase the Listening Skills of children by sound reading of different moral and value based books on regular basis.

* Suggested the teachers to conduct Çhhote Scientist Activities which Stimulates the sense Organs.

* Suggested the effective use of bagless days for practical based learning of theoritical concepts.

*Suggested to integrate co curricular activities with curricular activities to enhance the teaching learning processes.


*Suggested to promote oneness among the families of 

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA & The Society by initiating Amrit Milan Gatherings(Amrit Sankulas)  and explaining about Amrit Prabhath, Amrit Charcha,  Amrit Sayanam, Amrit Surabhi & Amrit Bhojan  for the betterment of the society and nation.

* Highlighted about the Three Man Making Aspects of Swami Vivekananda for creating character building among children.

*Suggested to conduct activities to promote *Five Fold development* among children by keeping the Vidyalaya at the Centre .

*Adviced the teachers to read books related to the Life incidents of Swami Vivekananda .

** Suggested to use home visits to create special bond between Parents & Teachers of Vivekananda Kendra and also asked to use home visits to collect information necessary for filling  Holistic Progress Card*.

* He enquired about Class X children' s academic performance and suggested the Class X teachers to complete home visits by this month, specially asked to visit the homes of children's who need much academic support.

CONCLUSION

The meeting concluded at about 6:00 pm with Shanti Mantra followed by positive feedback and encouragement for the initiatives taken by the school.

* A total of 17 teachers were benefitted.

CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION 2025


 To commemorate the birth anniversary of  PANDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU 

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, RANGAT hosted a vibrant and memorable celebration on 14th November 2025 with joy and merriment. The entire school campus convened with a festive look.


*KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CELEBRATION:*

The day was marked with a spirit of warmth and joyous acknowledgement of the students, structured around the following significant events:

 *A GRAND WELCOME:*   

The morning commenced with a heartfelt welcome to all children by taking arati and applying Chandan , setting a personal and auspicious tone for the day.


*INAUGURAL CEREMONY:*

The formal proceedings were initiated by the HoI through symbolic lighting of the lamp, offering flowers and invoking blessings .

*ENLIGHTENING ADDRESSES:* 


The assembly included inspiring speeches, notably a powerful address by *Mr. ANAND RAO* who highlighted the significance of childhood and the students’ role as the nation's future. This was followed by eloquent speeches presented by students, who shared their aspirations and gratitude.

*CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA:* 

The cultural programme that followed was the highlight of the day. It included a variety of dance performances. Students from each class performed energetic and joyful dances. The dances reflected not only talent but also dedication and team work.

*COMMUNITY LUNCH: A SPECIAL GESTURE:* 

The celebration culminated in a highly anticipated Community Lunch. This special initiative was collectively organized by the teachers, students, and support staff ('bhaiya'),under the guidance of HoI , fostering a profound sense of unity within the school family.

*ATMOSPHERE AND CONCLUSION:* 

The school prayer hall, which was exquisitely embellished with bright balloons and fresh flowers, provided a perfect backdrop for the festivities. The celebratory atmosphere was palpable, characterized by infectious laughter and enthusiastic participation from every corner. The event successfully conveyed the institution's commitment in Cherishing its young learners concluding on a high note of collective joy and remembrance . A total of 160 students along with 20 staff witnessed the programme.
