MATRU PUJA CELEBRATION AT VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT 2025-26

 REPORT ON MATRU PUJA CELEBRATION VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT.

OBJECTIVE:

To uphold the cultural tradition of honoring one’s mother as a divine figure..


INTRODUCTION:

Maatru Puja, a sacred ritual dedicated to honoring mothers, was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm at VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT on 2nd JANUARY 2026.


A SACRED TRIBUTE TO MOTHER:

 The event aimed to instill values of gratitude, respect, and love in children ,to uphold the cultural tradition of honoring one’s mother as a divine figure by recognizing the selfless sacrifices of their mothers.

Mothers of all participating students were invited, making it a heartwarming and emotional occasion.


AN EMOTIONAL AND HEARTWARMING GATHERING:


* Children performed the traditional feet-washing ritual, symbolizing respect and devotion.

* They applied Tilak on their mothers’ foreheads and offered flowers as a mark of reverence.

* Vedic hymns and mantras were chanted, creating a serene spiritual atmosphere.

* Students took blessings from all teachers & pandit ji.


CONCLUSION WITH MOTHER'S BLESSINGS & COMMUNITY BREAKFAST

* The event concluded with mothers blessing their children, followed by a *Community Break fast*.The event was an overwhelming success, leaving a lasting impression on both students and parents. 

* Many mothers became emotional, expressing their joy at being honored in such a meaningful way. 

* The students learned valuable life lessons about gratitude, humility, and the significance of family bonds.Maatru Puja was a beautiful and inspiring event that reinforced the values of respect, love, and devotion toward parents. 

* The celebration served as a reminder of the selfless sacrifices made by mothers and emphasized the importance of expressing gratitude in everyday life.

* A total of 36 Students, 21 Staff & 17 parents witnessed the event.

77TH REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION AS ON 26TH JANUARY 2026

 *REPORT ON 77 TH REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION AT VKV RANGAT*

*KARYA PADHATI:* REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION 

*DATE:* 26TH JANUARY 2026

*OBJECTIVE:* 

TO CELEBRATE 77TH REPUBLIC DAY 

*INTRODUCTION:*

On the auspicious morning hours of 26th January 2026 , our Vidyalaya celebrated 77th Republic day with Pomp and Gaiety along with Patriotic Fervor. The school campus was beautifully adorned with national flags and naturally availing flowers.

*PRABHAT FERI:*

 The celebration began early in the morning with a Prabhat Feri. Students marched through nearby areas holding the national flag and singing patriotic naras. The rally spread the message of unity, peace, and love for the nation.

*FLAG HOISTING CEREMONY:* 

After Prabhat Pheri, in presence of gleeful gathering, our HoI unfurled the national Flag, a symbol of Bharat's Independence  at 7:30 am and the entire gathering sang the National Anthem in unison, creating a powerful atmosphere of unity.

*CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA AT SCHOOL AUDITORIUM:* A vibrant cultural program was organized in the school hall. The program was inaugurated by the HoI by paying floral tribute to Jagat Janani Bharat Maata along with the song *Aarati Bharat Maata Ki ....* Sung by all.

*SPEECHES BY TEACHERS AND STUDENTS:*

Following the flag unfurling, one of our teachers Smti S. Indira delivered a speech highlighting the importance of the day and  *Gaurik* of Class V and *Akhilesh Kumar* of class VIII also delivered speeches highlighting the significance of Republic Day, the importance of the Indian Constitution, and the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. The speeches inspired students to be responsible and patriotic citizens.

*PATRIOTIC SONG BY TEACHERS:*

All teachers presented a patriotic song, which filled the atmosphere with national pride and enthusiasm. The performance was appreciated by the students and added grace to the celebration.

*ADDRESS BY THE HOI:*

The respected HoI Shri  *CH SHANMUGA RAO* , addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of punctuality, discipline, honesty, and dedication in students’ lives. The Principal encouraged students to follow the values of the Constitution and contribute positively to society and the nation by doing their duties.

*CONCLUSION:*

The celebration concluded peacefully with the Shanti Paath & Floral tributes by students and staff , spreading a message of harmony, peace, and goodwill.A total of 181 people (160 students along with 21 Staff) witnessed the programme.

SARASWATI PUJA CELEBRATION ON 23RD JANUARY 2026

SARASWATI PUJA CELEBRATION REPORT 

*KARYA PADHATI:*

 Saraswati Puja Celebration.

*DATE:* 23rd January 2026

*VENUE:* 

School Auditorium.

*OBJECTIVE:*

 To seek the blessings of Maa Saraswati .

*INTRODUCTION:*

*VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, RANGAT* celebrated Shree Shree Saraswati Puja, dedicated to Goddess Saraswati—the symbol of knowledge, wisdom, learning and arts, on Friday , the 23rd January 2026 with great devotion and enthusiasm .

* The entire campus was beautifully decorated with flowers, rangoli, and traditional ornaments, creating a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere for the occasion.

*PUJA ARAMBHAM:*

* The celebration commenced with Puja Aarambham signifying the auspicious beginning of the religious ceremony at about 7:00 a.m. The priest performed the rituals according to Vedic traditions. all staff , students, parents and community members participated wholeheartedly, 

*PUSHPANJALI:*

At 7:30 a.m, Pushpanjali was performed. Devotees offered flowers with deep faith and reverence. Students actively participated and prayed for wisdom, knowledge, and success in their studies.

*SACRED FIRE RITUAL- HAVAN :*

A sacred Havan was conducted at 8:30 a.m.Class X Students alongwith teachers & Parents sat infront of the Havan , seeking the blessings of the Goddess Maa Saraswati for academic success and intellectual growth.Vedic mantras were chanted, and offerings were made into the holy fire. The ceremony filled the environment with positivity, peace, and spiritual energy.

*PRASAD DISTRIBUTION:*

After the completion of the rituals, Prasad Distribution was organized at 10:30 . This year Pulav was distributed as Prasad . It was served in a systematic manner among Students, Teachers, Parents, PTA & SMC Members and the community members. Everyone received with devotion and gratitude.A total of 21 Staff, 180 Students and 500 General public were benefitted.

*BHAJAN SANDHYA:*

In the evening, a devotional Bhajan Sandhya was organised at about 5:30 p.m. Students and participants presented melodious bhajans, creating a divine and serene ambiance within the campus. A total of 30 people were present.

*BHAJAN SINGING COMPETITION:*

A Bhajan singing Competition was also organized as part of the celebration. Students participated enthusiastically and showcased their musical talents and devotion. The competition encouraged cultural expression and confidence among the participants.

*CONCLUSION:*

Overall, the Saraswati Puja celebration was conducted smoothly and successfully. The event strengthened spiritual values, cultural awareness, discipline, and unity among students and staff. It was a memorable and spiritually enriching experience for everyone involved.

OBJECTIVE:TO CELEBRATE SWAMI VIVEKANANDA JAYANTI 

OBSERVATION AT SCHOOL:

On the auspicious morning hours of 12th January 2026, at about 8:30 am VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT observed the 163 rd birth anniversary of SWAMI VIVEKANANDA at school in a peaceful and divine atmosphere.All Staff paid floral tributes to the great philosopher and the spiritual leader.

GRANDEUR CELEBRATION AT ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE AUDITORIUM:

On the auspicious evening of 12th January 2026 at about 4 pm ,VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT celebrated SWAMI VIVEKANANDA JAYANTI  & NATIONAL YOUTH DAY with great zeal and enthusiasm. The program was held at ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE Auditorium,RANGAT, N & M Andaman. The Chief Guest for the event was Shri VIKASH KUMAR, DANICS, Assistant Commissioner, Rangat, Middle Andaman and Guest of Honour was DR. SUSHIM KUMAR BISWAS Deputy Education Officer & Smti R. BARKHA Assistant Conservator of Forests, Middle Andaman, graced the occasion as a Special Guest. Parents, SMC & PTA members , well wishers and other dignitaries were also invited to witness the program.

ARRANGMENT OF THE HALL:

The hall was beautifully adorned with colourful lights, banners & flowers creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere. Proper seating arrangements, stage decoration, and sound systems were well managed, ensuring comfort and clarity for the audience. 

INAUGURAL CEREMONY:

After a warm welcome of the Guests and dignitaries in a traditional way,The function began with lighting of the lamp by the Guests alongwith Eikkiya Mantra followed by the school prayer . Smti BINITA PANNA delivered a warm welcome address, which outlined the significance of the Day after which the students performed a beautiful welcome dance.

KEY NOTE ADDRESS:

Our Special Guest Smti. R. BARKHA Assistant Conservator of Forests , M. Andaman,delivered an insightful keynote address, focusing on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and the significance of Samarth Bharat Parv in fostering a strong and self-reliant India.

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY:

The program then moved to the prize distribution ceremony, during which mementos were presented to the Guests as a token of gratitude. They also distributed prizes to the achievers.

CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA:

The cultural program that followed , showcased diverse performances, starting with a welcome dance *Ganesh Vandhana* followed by a mesmerizing performance by the blossoming buds of Balvatika I & II for the song O my Friend Ganesha ... ,a classical dance Vande Mataram by Class II children and a beautiful dance performance Tara Rambham Tara Rambham ... by the Balvatika -3 children .

* This was followed by another round of prize distribution. 

* Other captivating performances included a skit based on the life incidents of Swami Vivekananda, Bengali dance & Assamese folk dance, Tamil - Telugu Fusion dance, Malayalam dance etc.A pyramid formation by students was a special highlight, showcasing their teamwork and discipline. 

CONCLUSION:

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Smti BINDHU K , one of our teachers followed by Shanti Path, leaving the audience inspired and appreciative of the vibrant cultural celebration.The event was a grand success, fostering unity and reflecting the values of Swami Vivekananda. A total of 500 people including Students, Staff, PTA & SMC Members , Other dignitaries and Community Members witnessed the program.

SAMSKAR VARGA FOR CHILDREN

INTRODUCTION:

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT organised Samskar Varga on 8th December 2025 at about 10:50 am for the children from Class -I to V , with the objective of nurturing positive values and shaping the character of young students. The program focused on the holistic development of children, including moral, emotional, and social growth.  

 The session commenced with three omkaras and Sahana bhavathu..

SALIENT FEATURES OF SAMSKAR VARGA:


LOOSENING EXERCISES AND YOGA ABHYAS

Children performed some loosening exercises and practiced some asanas such as Ardha Katti Chakrasan & Vrukshasan* under the demonstration of Smti Bindu K & Mr Rakesh Kr Das

CHANTING OF NARAS

Children Chanted Patriotic Naras which was led by Mr. SUMEET KR SARKAR.

GAMING SESSION:

Interactive game encouraging sharing, cooperation, and teamwork was conducted.Participants played an interesting game Hathi Ghoda Balki Jai Gannaiya Lalki......

SHORT MORAL STORY TELLING

To instill honesty, kindness, and truthfulness among children, a short story based on Mahaveer Narasimha was narrated by Smti K. BINDHU

CONCLUSION:

The session concluded at around 11: 30 am with Shanti Paat followed by Prarthana with active participation of 38 Children along with 4 staff.

Overall, The SAMSKAR Varga proved to be a joyful and meaningful experience for Balvatika children.
