GITA JAYANTI CELEBRATION ON 3rd DECEMBER2022


 

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rangat celebrated Gita Jayanti on 3rd December.

The Bhagavad Gita  often referred as Gita , is a 700 - Verse hindu scripture ,is considered the most and influential Hindu scripture for its philosophical, Practical, political and spiritual value. Gita Jayanti marks the birth of this holy book. This day was celebrated at VKV ,Rangat on 3rd December,2022 with complete devotion. Smti Sunita Kumari (Sr. Teacher) paid homage to Lord Krishna and delivered a speech on the  importance of Bhagavad Gita.  . She also encouraged all to read & follow Bhagwad Gita in their life.  students from all the four houses presented Sri Krishna Bajans. All students chanted verses from karmayoga shloka. Program was concluded with the offering of flowers by the students and  all the staff.

SADHANA DIWAS ON 19TH NOVEMBER 2022

        Sadhana Diwas was celebrated to commemorate Mananiya Eknathji Ranade’s birth anniversary on 19th November 2022 at V.K.V Rangat in the morning assembly. He was a great social activist and leader. In the year 1972, Vivekananda Kendra –a Hindu spiritual organisation was founded by Eknathji Ranade.

The Principal Shri C.H Shanmuga Rao paid floral tribute and enlighten students about the journey of this great patriot who followed the principles of Swami Vivekananda throughout his life. On that day our vidyalaya conducted Science, Maths and Art exhibition which was named as "Jigyasa". Our Chief Guest  Shri E.V Rao (Principal, incharge of Govt Vocational Training Institute ,Bakultala ) and our Guest of Honour Shri Suryakant Singh (Medical Officer CHC Rangat inaugurated the Exhibition. All students, parents and local people also visited and enjoyed the event.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rangat, celebrated  Children’s Day on 14th Nov.  India’s  First Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru was born on 14th November as he liked the children, this day is being celebrated as “ Children’s Day”.  Our honorable Principal  Shri Ch. Shanmuga  Rao offered floral tribute to the great leader . Miss Rinku Baidya (Maths Teacher ) gave a brief introduction about the importance of the day. Tanvi Dhanwar of class VIII and Arnav Dey of Class IV delivered a speech . Children from all classes presented  many beautiful dances.The program was ended with the offering of flowers by students and staff.

SISTER NIVEDITA JAYANTHI CELEBRATION

 

SISTER NIVEDITA JAYANTI ON 28th OCT. 2022

VKV,Rangat observed Sister Nivedita Jayanti on 28th Oct 2022, in the school hall. The observation was started with paying homage by the Principal, Shri CH.Shanmuga Rao. On speaking the Principal gave a brief description on sister Nivedita’s journey of life and contribution for the betterment  of women and society. It was ended with offering flowers to the portrait of sister Nivedita.

GANDHI JAYANTHI CELEBRATION 2022-2023



                                                               Vivekananda  Kendra Vidyalaya  Rangat, celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Sastri Jayanti on  2nd October 2022 in the morning in the school premises. The  Principal, Shri CH. Shanmuga Rao , paid homage and highlighted the contributions of the great
leaders. 

Our students of our vidyalaya , namely  A. Nishit(C-IV) and Om .Parikshit (C-VI) delivered a beautiful speech  about "Mahatma Gandhi".A  group of students along with all teachers  sang  Ramdhun. At last students and staff offered flowers and sweets were distributed among them.

UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY ON 11TH SEPETEMBER

Universal Brotherhood Day is observed on 11th September annually around the world to honour the historic speech delivered by Swami Vivekananda on this day in 1893 in Chicago to the delegates of the World Parliament of Religions. Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rangat, observed U.B.Day with a lot of joy and excitement. The Principal Shri CH. Shanmuga Rao welcomed the gathering. He sang  Swami Vivekananda’s song and also presented a beautiful speech regarding U.B Day. A teacher of  our Vidyalaya Shri . Bishnu Pada Biswas,  highlighted  Swami  Vivekananda's remarkable contribution for the country and  the significance of the day.   Students from class X  delivered speech about U.B Day.House wise  traditional dance programs were presented .  The program concluded with offering of flowers by all the students and the staff.

TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION ON 5TH SEPTEMBER 2022

Teachers’day  is dedicated to all the Teachers, Gurus and Mentors who guide their successors to become better human beings, just like Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan did in his time.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rangat Celebrated Teacher's  Day on 5th September 2022, to commemorate Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan , The First Vice President and The Second President of India with enthusiasm. Our Honorable  Principal Shri. CH. Shanmuga Rao, paid floral homage to the great leader and welcome the gathering and urged the students to follow the path shown by the great Philosophers, leaders and Personalities. On that day ,our students presented dance performance . Apart from that ,students of class X, presented bouquet of flowers to our staffs . Our teachers presented the valuable books as a treasure to the class X students and Blessed them. 

The Celebration concluded with great enthusiasm.

GANESH CHATURTHI CELEBRATION ON 31st AUGUST 2022

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rangat celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great pomp and gaiety.

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganeshathe son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. The festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Ganeshotsav.

The session started with a traditional lamp lighting and Aarthi. Children performed devotional bhajans. The Principal, Sri  CH. Shanmuga Rao advised  that one should not forget the culture, tradition and importance of celebrating festivals. Students and staff offered flowers and prasad was distributed among all.

                      RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION 2022-2023

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rangat celebrated "  Raksha Bandhan" on 11th August. in India

Raksha Bandhan is observed on the last day of the Hindu lunar calendar month of Shraavana, which typically falls in August. The expression "Raksha Bandhan" (Sanskrit, literally, "the bond of protection, obligation, or care,") is now principally applied to this ritual. on account of this occasion, our school conducted  "  Rakhi Making Competition " for classes VI- X.  our honorable Principal Shri CH. Shanmuga  Rao inaugurated the festival by lighting the lamp. He also  highlighted the importance of celebrating the festival. Apart from that ,children from all classes (from KG-X) tied Rakhi to their brothers  as a token of love and protection. All  Didis (staff ) tied Rakhi to their brothers as a token of love, protection and care.  Our Senior Teacher  Smti. K. Bindhu ,delivered a beautiful speech. At last, the celebration was  concluded with sweet distribution. After that our teachers along with students  visited various  public places and offices like CHC Rangat, Police Station, DEO,DFO ,Account and Agriculture Offices to tie Rakhi.






 KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION ON 18TH AUGUST 2022

Vivekananda Kendra vidyalaya Rangat celebrated Janmashtami on 18th August 2022,with fervor and devotion. It is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, eighth reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. According to the Hindu calendar, this festival is celebrated on the Ashtami of Krishna Paksh or the 8th day of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadon.

The fragrance of flowers, soothing aroma of camphor and the jingle of bells filled the air. To celebrate the extraordinary bond between children and the Almighty, VKV, Rangat took the opportunity to both jubilate and learn with the young minds. The celebration that followed was truly entertaining and educating.

A lot of fun-filled activities like  fancy dress competition, solo and group bhajans were conducted. The purpose of the flamboyant celebration was to inculcate value of sharing and respect in the students. The life history of Lord Krishna was very beautifully narrated by  our honorable Principal CH. Shanmuga Rao.

 INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION ON 15th AUGUST 2022

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rangat , celebrated 75th Independence Day as Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav  in the morning on 15th August 2022 with zeal and enthusiasm. The principal Shri CH . Shanmuga Rao, hoisted the National Flag at 9.00 a.m followed by National Anthem. Slogans were echoed in  every direction which filled heart and mind with Patriotism. On speaking, he urged to do work with dedication, happiness and to follow the path shown by Swami Vivekananda. our science teacher Shri Anand Rao, delivered  speech. Speech competitions on different subjects for all classes were also organized.  Mock drill and Aerobics was also performed by the children of class X. All staff including teaching & non -teaching ,and all the  children  were present .  At last sweets were distributed.

 DISASTER MANAGEMENT DRIVE

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya , Rangat conducted " Disaster Management Drive" in our school to create awareness among students. Our Social Science Teacher , Shri Bishnu Pada Biswas, demonstrated about how to handle  the fire extinguishers  during  emergency  . He also explained about some precautionary measures during emergency. After that our Physical Education Teacher   demonstrated about how to handle the affected persons during emergency.





 PRIZE WINNER OF QUIZ COMPETITION ORGANIZED BY RANGATGIRI

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya  Rangat ,is very much  proud to congratulate Kumari   Sweta Biswas of Class IV and Hemal Halder of class VIII   for  winning first Position in quiz  competition which was organized by  Rangatgiri based on the theme " Birsa Munda - The Freedom Fighter and the Tribal leader. Our honorable Principal  Shri CH Shanmuga Rao proudly distributed the  certificates to the concerned students and encouraged them. He also motivated all the other students to take part in competitions.

GURU PURNIMA CELEBRATION ON 13TH JULY

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rangat celebrated “Guru Purnima” on

13th  July .Guru Purnima is a tradition dedicated to all the spiritual and academic Gurus, who are evolved or enlightened humans, ready to share their wisdom, based on Karma Yoga. It is celebrated as a festival in India, on that auspicious day, our honourable Principal Sir , Shri Ch . Shanmuga Rao inaugurated the function by enlighting the lamp. After that he delivered wonderful speech about “Guru Purnima”.Smti Sunita Kumari (  Senior Teacher) delivered speech about the importance of “Guru Purnima”. Students presented group song. At last the programme was concluded by the sweet distribution.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya  Rangat ,is very much  proud to congratulate Kumari  Ananya Halder of Class IX  who has received Rs.1000 case Prize along with certificate for  winning third Position in collage competition which was organized by CHC, Rangat. Our honorable Principal Shri CH Shanmuga Rao recceived the certificate from the medical team ,Rangat.

SARASWATI PUJA CELEBRATION

 

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Rangat celebrated “Saraswati  Puja” on 5th February .On the auspicious day of Saraswati Puja, the students of class X ,SMC members and faculty of VKV Rangat came together to seek blessings of the goddess of knowledge Ma Saraswati . Aarti was done by the principal Shri Ch.Shanmuga Rao followed by bhajans. Students of class X offered flowers and took blessing . Bhog was distributed among all the devotees.

                 REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION ON 26TH JANUARY 2022

VKV Rangat celebrated Republic Day on 26 Jan 2022 with great enthusiasm. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolour, the pride of Nation by the Principal Shri CH.Shanmuga Rao at 7.00 a.m. followed by the National Anthem. On speaking  ,he exhorted us to maintain the dignity of being a citizen of a Republic.. He underlined that it is very important to realise the difference between war and peace. The teachers brought the stage alive with their passion and love of the motherland through their performances.

The school campus  reverberated with patriotic favour and enthusiasm by our school choir songs. The program was ended with  slogans.










 




 

           NATIONAL YOUTH DAY CELEBRATION ON 12TH JANUARY

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rangat observed the National Youth Day in the school premises on 12th January 2022 by following covid protocols. Dr. Bindu Kumar ( ayurvedic, CHC. Rangat ) graced the occasion . The program was initiated with the lamp lighting and floral tribute to Swami Vivekananda's statue by the guest and the Principal .  On speaking he highlighted on  philosophies, principles and ideas of Swami Vivekanada. He narrated  an  inspiring story of Swami Vivekananda’s life   and proudly proclaimed that he has been influenced by Swami Vivekananda ideologies.A virtual program with Adarniya Hanumant Raoji's for our N&M Andaman Vidyalaya's teachers and other staff members was done. He highlighted the journey  of swami Vivekananda and his sacrifices towards the country's welfare. He urged the teachers to follow the path shown by Swamiji and do selfless service.





 

SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE JAYANTI ON 23RD 

JANUARY - 2022


VKV Rangat, observed Subhas Chandra Bose jayanti on 24th January 2022 in the morning. Subhash Chandra Bose was born on January 23, 1897 in Cuttack in Odisha and later because of his brave and courageous contribution for the mother land  known as Netaji.  The principal Shri C.H.Shanmuga Rao gave floral tribute to the great leader and highlighted his unbound contribution towards the country's freedom.
