SWADHYAY FOR TEACHERS AS ON 19 TH AUGUST 2025


Our Vidyalaya organised  Swadhyay  for teachers on 19 th August 2025 in the school premises at about 2:45 pm. The event was initiated with three omkaras followed Shanti Path .

* Under this topic Teachers were acquainted with the knowledge of inter connectivity, inter relativity and inter dependency of individuals and the whole universe.

Each soul is potentially devine 

* Under this topic Teachers come to know that no one is weak   by nature. Each soul/ every human being has infinite potential .

* Real education and spirituality tries to manifest the divinity within every individual .

No man is a sinner

It is believed that man is a sinner by birth. But today teachers were acquainted with the knowledge of "no man is sinner " and human  soul is eternal and immortal through Swami Vivekananda's  famous Chicago address based on the topic"Paper on Hinduism"

Veera Bhoomi      Bharatam

 Under this topic Teachers come to know about great Kings and their bravery.

The event  concluded with Kendra Prarthana.Altogether 16 staff were benefitted .

Overall the session was fruitful to all.By blending with Indian culture, teachers can nurture children who are knowledgeable and value driven.

JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION ON 16 TH AUGUST 2025


Introduction

Janmashtami, a celebration commemorating the birth of Bhagavan Sri Krishna was celebrated with great pomp, gaiety and enthusiasm at VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT on 16 th August 2025 in the School Auditorium.The event aimed to foster aimed to foster a sense of unity and cultural exchange.

Highlights of the event

Arrangement:

The school premises were adorned with vibrant and traditional decoration. The aroma of incense sticks and kapoor filled the air with spiritual ambience.The event was inaugurated with the traditional lamp lighting by the HoI and house masters followed by Gita Chanting.

Fancy dress competition

House wise fancy dress competition was organised for the tiny dots of Balvatika - I to class II . Children were dressed up as Lord Krishna & Radha.

Cultural activities

Students showcased their talents through various cultural performances including :-

Skit based Traditional dances

Short skirt based dances depicting the life of Lord Krishna were enacted by the children .

Bhajan singing competition

A Group wise Bhajan singing competition was held in which students from each house sang Krishna Bhajans , filling the atmosphere with spiritual ambience.

Conclusion

Krishna Janmashtami is more than a celebration — it is a reminder to live by the values of truth, love, duty, and righteousness. As Lord Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita:

"Do your duty without attachment to results, for this is the path to true peace."

Overall the whole celebration was organised by Saddle Peak House. A total of 90 students , 5 Parents and 20 Staff Witnessed the programme.








79TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

 On the early dawn of 15th August 2025, VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT celebrated the 79 th independence day with Great Zeal,Pride and Patriotic Fervour.The School campus was beautifully decorated with naturally available flowers and the tricolours.All the blossoming buds of our vidyalaya and staff gathered at about 6:15 am.The celebration commenced with the Prabhat Pheri at 6:30 am and the surrounding was echoed with patriotic naras.

After Prabhat Pheri, in presence of the gleeful gathering the HoI unfurled the national Flag, a symbol of Bharat's Independence at 7:00 am and the entire gathering sang the National Anthem in unison, creating a powerful atmosphere of unity.

After the flag hoisting, various cultural activities took place in the school prayer hall.

 The event commenced with the patriotic song " Aarati Bharath Maata ki Jagat ki Bhagya Vidhata ki".  

Our Music teacher Miss Sweta Das sang one Desh Bhakti Geet which was inspired by all and stirred all. Miss Ankita of class VII spoke about India's freedom struggle.Students from secondary and middle Presented songs with patriotic fervor. Subsequently one of our teachers , Smti Binita Panna delivered a speech about the importance of the day.

 In order to make the event more impressive , interested students were allowed to express their views.They shared their thoughts on the value of independence and the responsibilities of citizens in building a better Finally ,solemn speech was given by the HoI,to pay homage to the brave martyrs of the country. He spoke about the importance of the day and asked all,to be the part of developing the nation. The celebration concluded with santhi Mantra. 

The whole programme was organised by " Saddle Peak House" and was hosted by Miss RIZA KHAN & ABHIJIT MONDAL .Overall 165 students along with 20 staff witnessed the event.






RAKSHABANDHAN CELEBRATION ON 9 TH AUGUST 2025

 VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 9th August 2025 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The celebration began with a speech by one of our teachers, Miss SUDIPA MONDAL, explaining the history and significance of the festival. 

Students from different classes performed cultural dances based on the special bond of love , care and protection between brothers and sisters.


During the programme, students tied rakhis to their sisters friends, and classmates, symbolising harmony beyond blood relations. The atmosphere was filled with joy. 


All lady staff also tied Rakies to their brothers , fed sweets and took blessings from them which reflected the symbol of love,care, respect & protection.


The event concluded with the distribution of sweets. It was a memorable occasion that not only celebrated tradition but also strengthened the feeling of togetherness among all.

After the celebration at school, teachers divided into groups along with some children , tied Rakies around Medical area, Rangat Police station,Post office and nearby areas.

A total of 20 staff alongwith 70 children took part in that celebration.

KENDRA VARGA FOR TEACHERS AS ON 12 th AUGUST 2025

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT 

Kendra Varga for this week was organised on Tuesday ,the 12 th August 2025, with enthusiastic  participation of all teachers. It was held  in the school prayer hall at about 2: 30 pm. 

The program began with three om karas & Shanti Path which created a Positive & Spiritual vibration among all.Soon after participants, performed  some regular warm up exercises such as shoulder rotation , knee rotation & ankle rotation  which was followed by some asanas such as "Uttana Mandukasana  & Bhadrasan ".In continuation of asanas,  an energetic and joyful game  named " Zig Zag " which  brought unity, co operation and teamwork, was played and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Naras lead by Mr. SUMEET KR BISWAS echoed the hall and shivered all. A desh bhakti geet" Ekta akgyantha" was lead by the HoI.

The special group discussion was conducted based on the topic" How to inculcate Healthy Habits among all"  which was initiated by Mr . Anand Rao and other staff also put forwarded their views  .The programme concluded   at around  3:30 pm with Shanti Mantra,Prarthana.

A total of 14 teachers participated and attained the benefits. Overall it was a wonderful experience . It not only created a sense of pleasure but also created a sense of patriotism, unity and teamwork among all.

BHAJAN SANDHIYA AT LORD SHIVA TEMPLE

On the auspicious evening of  28 th July  2025 , a  heartfelt Bhajan Santhiya was organized by VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT at  Lord  Shiv Temple . Parents along with their wards  gathered to participate in this soulful celebration dedicated to Lord Shiva.The temple premises were decorated with flowers, diyas, and the scent of incense filled the air, creating a serene and devotional atmosphere. 


The event began with a traditional prayer.The bhajans began soon after, with children  from class II onwards taking turns to present devotional songs in praise of Lord  Ganesh,Lord Shiva, Lord  Krishna , Guru Bhajans & Devi bhajan . Songs like "Om Namah Shivaya", " Shankara Shankara", &  " Hari Om  Hari Om Satyam Shivam " which was sung by  SHRI ASHOK BARLA  bhaiya, stirred the hearts of all present.

One of the most touching moments of the evening was when children performed a group bhajan, dressed in traditional attire, singing with devotion and innocence. Their performance  filled the atmosphere with joy and reverence.

The audience actively participated by clapping along with the rhythm and chanting Shiva’s name. The feeling of unity and peace was visible on everyone’s faces. The program concluded with a collective aarti, offered to Lord Shiva, followed by distribution of prasad to all the attendees. 

The Bhajan Santhiya at the Shiv Temple was not just an event, but a soulful experience that reminded everyone about  the power of music in spiritual life. It strengthened the sense of community, brought peace to the minds of many, and inspired a deeper connection with the divine. A total of 45 children , 15 parents & 15 staff took part in that Spritual Gathering.

KENDRA VARGA AS ON 26 TH JULY 2025

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT successfully conducted Kendra Varga for all staff and students on 26th July 2025 at about 1:30 pm ,with active participation from both groups . The session was organized with the aim of inculcating cultural values, discipline, and a spirit of togetherness among the participants.

The program began with usual prayer followed by loosening exercises & some asanas such as Tadasana,Vrukshasan & Artha Katti Chakrasan, which energized the participants and prepared them for the day’s activities. An enthusiastic game , " Gendh Pakkado, Khel Jitho" which was played & enjoyed by all . Naras chanted before & after the game echoed the hall & brought patriotic fervuor among children.A desh bhakti geet " Dharm ke liye Jiye Samaj ke liye Jiye " was lead by Smti K. BINDHU.

A short discussion based on the topic " Indian culture" was conducted, where both the staff and students shared their thoughts and experiences. Teachers guided the students with real-life examples, highlighting the importance of self-discipline in achieving academics.

The Kendra Varga game to end at about 2: 30 pm with Shanti Path, Prarthana & Avlokan. The whole program was lead by the PET under the guidance of the Principal. A total of 33 children from class IX & X along with 17 staff benefitted the program
