*REPORT ON MEETING WITH MANN HANUMANT RAO BHAIYA, SUSRI VARSA DIDI & SHRI RAMACHANDRA VENUGOPAL BHAIYA*
On the morning hours of 7th September 2025, a special meeting was convened with Mann *HANUMANT RAO ji* ,
All India Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra , *SUSRI B. VARSA Didi* Secretary, Vivekananda Vidyalayas, Andaman & with *Shri. RAMACHANDRA VENUGOPAL* Education Officer Andaman at School Auditorium, VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT.
* The objective of the meeting was to interact with teachers of our Vidyalaya and to discuss about holistic Progress Report .
* The meeting commenced with three omkaras & Santhi Path.
* First of all, the HoI welcomed the Guests. Followed by Desh Bakthi Geet " Seva ka Vrat Dhaara" , teachers introduced themselves.
* The real & interesting interaction began with Mann HANUMANT RAO ji with a thought provoking question " *Who is a Good Teacher?*
* He asked everyone to share their views. Everybody shared their views/ opinions regarding the topic.
* Teachers were also acquainted with the three main principles of Swami Vivekananda such as *Controlling the mind, Behaviour Change and Love for Jagat Janani, India* He also guided the teachers with his valuable words about *" How to bring behavioural changes among children & staff in a positive way?* by highlighting Swami Vivekananda's famous quotation *" Character is repeated habits and repeated habits can alone reform the character"*.
* As the meeting progressed , he highlighted the five characteristics of a good teacher ( Panch Prem Sutras) such a
*Love for Students*
*Love for Subject Matter*
*Love for Profession* *Love for Institution* *Love for Nation*
from the book *Rousing Call To Hindu Nation* and emphasised the importance of being a good teacher.
* After the interaction with Mann HANUMANT RAO ji, teachers were made aware of the correct method of filling the Holistic Progress Card (HPC) under the National Education Policy (NEP) framework by the respected Education Officer of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas, *Shri RAMACHANDRA VENUGOPAL* .
* Teachers were well versed & gained clarity about their broader role in the holistic development of the children and received a step-by-step approach to recording students’ progress in the holistic manner envisioned by the NEP.
* The meeting came to an end at around 12 noon with Shanti Mantra and Prarthana. A total of 17 staff benefitted.
