SRI KRISHNA JANMASTAMI CELEBRATION- 2024

 Janmashtami is a significant Hindu festival observed in India, celebrated on the 8th day of Krishna paksha in the Hindu month of Shraavana. It marks the birth of Lord Krishna and is joyfully commemorated by Hindus across the country. Festivities are particularly passionate in states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab, Gujarat, and others. Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Vishnu, is honoured during this festival. Janmashtami, which typically falls in August-September, is celebrated with various rituals aimed at pleasing Lord Krishna. This festive occasion is a source of great joy for Hindus, encompassing vibrant celebrations and meaningful traditions. It is more than just a festival. Janmashtami embodies devotion, unity, and spiritual enlightenment for Hindus throughout India. By following the tradition, VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT celebrated " Sri Krishna Janmastami " on 26th August 2024, in school premises.The celebration was inaugurated by lighting up the  lamp by the Principal, followed by the Judges shri  *Dipankar Mandal*, SMC Vice Chairman, Shri *Nimai Paik*, Vice President PTA, shri *Kuldip Paul* PTA Member.The Program began with *Gita Chanting* .After that house wise *Fancy Dress Competition* was conducted for the blossoming buds of KG's. Kids very enthusiastically took part in the competition in the attires of Lord Krishna & Radha. Then, house wise bajan & dance competition were also held. Children from all houses very enthusiastically and joyfully participated . The competition was judged by the Judges.In that *Ketharnath*






house bagged first position . 

The  celebration came to an end with prasaad distribution. The celebration was organised by *Ketharnath* house. A total of 173 people witnessed the program along with PTA, SMC Members and parents.

KENDRA VARGA AUGUST 2024.

 Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Rangat organised " Kendra Varga" at Kali Mandir ,  Nimbutala on 24th August at 4: 30 pm. Students, Parents, PTA & SMC members took part on that. In that Kendra Varga, so many activities, such as Agya Abhiyas,Yogasanas, Games ,Charcha were conducted.  The topic for charcha was  Amrit Parivar. All members were very enthusiastically  participated and shared their views. Kendra Varga came to an end with Prarthana followed by " Nara Abhyas ". At last sweets were distributed to all. A total of 50 people were present.The motive behind organizing this Kendra Varga was to create unity among oneness and to promote cultural and moral values among the society.







NATIONAL SPACE DAY CELEBRATION

 

Vivekananda Kendra vidyalaya (VKV) Rangat observed National Space Day with great enthusiasm,sparking curiosity and interesting space exploration among students.The event held at the school premises,saw active participation from class 9th and 10th students. Principal Shri CH Shanmuga Rao and teacher Shri V Senthil Kumar led the event,which featured an interaction session with Shri Bishnu Pada Biswas on the significance of Space day, ISRO's Chandrayaan mission, and government's STEM initiatives. Students listened  intently as Shri Biswas shared insights into the wonders of space exploration,inspiring young minds to pursue careers in science and technology."The event aimed to ignite curiosity and passion for space exploration among our students." said Principal Shri CH Shanmuga Rao. "We believe that such initiatives will shape the future of our nation " . The celebration of National Space day at VKV RANGAT demonstrates the school's commitment to promoting scientific awareness and encouraging  students to reach for the stars .

RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION-2024



 

                                             
"Raksha Bandhan" is observed on the last day of the Hindu lunar calendar month of Shraavana, which typically falls in August. The Morpheme "Raksha Bandhan" (Sanskrit, literally, "The bond of protection, obligation, or care") is now principally applied to this ritual. On account of this occasion, our school conducted  "  Rakhi Making Competition on 18thAugust. Students from class -III onwards , very enthusiastically participated on that event.  On the day of Raksha Bandhan
, that is on19th August,VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, RANGAT celebrated the event with great pleasure and enthusiasm. Our honorable Principal Shri CH. Shanmuga  Rao inaugurated the festival by lighting the lamp. He also  highlighted the importance of celebrating the festival. After that,  
one of our teachers,  Mr. Sadha Nand ,delivered a speech on the importance of celebrating the day.  Apart from that ,children from all classes (from KG-X) tied Rakhi to their brothers  as a token of love and protection.  Then , students from various classes, performed beautiful dances.  Bhajans were also sung by some children. At last, the celebration was  concluded with sweet distribution. After that our teachers along with students initiated "Har Ghar Rikie"
"drive  by visiting  houses & public places like Market, Post Office, Police station, CHC, Rangat,  Banks , AC Office, Pay & Account Offices  , DEO, DFO offices etc and tied Rakies & pasted Swami Vivekananda 's Stickers. The Program was organised by "Kashi House". A  total of 180 people were present . 



INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2024

 Upon gaining independence in 1947, Bharat embarked on a journey to become a sovereign nation. It faced challenges such as partition and communal violence, but managed to emerge stronger. Today, Bharat is a vibrant and democratic society, with a rich history and culture.

Bharat's Independence Day 2024 is a momentous occasion that reminds us of the brave men and women who fought for our freedom. It is a day of celebration and reflection, as we celebrate 78 years of independence and look forward to the future. Independence Day is not just a day of celebration, but also a reminder of our civic responsibilities. It is a time to pay respects to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation. People also participate in cleanliness drives and tree plantation campaigns to contribute to the sustainable development of the nation.

By keeping these all in a view, VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT ,celebrated the 78th INDEPENDENCE DAY on 15th August 2024 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The school campus was beautifully decorated with flags and naturally available flowers to commemorate the day. All the students and teachers gathered in the school premises at 6:15 a.m. The program began with "Prabhat Pheri "  with inspiring slogans.After that,in the presence of a gleeful gathering, the National Flag was hoisted by the Principal Shri CH SHANMUGA RAO. A solemn speech was given by the Principal to pay homage to the brave martyrs of the country. Then one of our teachers Smti S. INDIRA ,delivered a speech about the significance of this day.  Students of the various classes delivered their wonderful speech .A Soulful  Patriotic song was sung by  JUI DUTTA & GROUP.  Apart from that a beautiful patriotic song “ CHALE NIRANTAR CHINTAN MANTHAN“ was sung by all by which the school campus echoed with  a patriotic fervor. Altogether, 200 people were present in that celebration.At last, Sweets were distributed to all .

75th VAN MAHOTSAV


 

VIVEKANANDA KENDRAVIDYALAYA, RANGAT ,  in association with Forest Department Rangat, observed the 75th “ Van  Mahotsav” at the school premises on 29th July. The event aimed to promote to afforestation and environmental awareness among students and other local community. Nearly 20 saplings were planted in the presence of Forest Department Officials, Principal Shri Shanmuga Rao, students and school staff. The ceremony highlighted the importance of afforestation.
