*INTRODUCTION:*
To commemorate the birth Anniversary of Ma. EKNATH RAMAKRISHNA RANADE, the founder of VIVEKANANDA KENDRA and the spirit behind the Vivekananda Rock Memorial Kanyakumari,
VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT Organised the " ARISE! AWAKE!AN EXHIBITION ON SWAMI VIVEKANANDA & ART, SCIENCE AND CRAFT EXHIBITION & celebrated " SADHANA DIWAS" on 19th November 2025 at the school Premises.The event was inaugurated by the honorable Chief Guest Miss *ALEENA RAJAN* , Senior Veterinary Officer, Veterinary Hospital, Rangat.
Students from different classes worked for weeks to prepare their projects, and the final display reflected their hard work, imagination, and teamwork. .
*SALIENT FEATURES OF THE EVENT:*
The exhibition brought together models and artwork from Arts, Science, Mathematics, and Craft, making it a colourful and educational event for everyone who attended.
The Exhibition followed a room-wise setup, allowing visitors to experience each section smoothly.
*SWAMI VIVEKANANDA'S ROOM:*
First Room featured with the portraits of Swamiji Vivekananda surrounded by stories and incidents from his life. The room created a peaceful and thoughtful atmosphere.
*MATHS,SCIENCE & SOCIAL SCIENCE SECTION:*
Rooms 2 and 3 sparkled with scientific curiosity and mathematical excitement.
Diverse working and non working models such as JAR PUZZLE, HYDRO ELECTRICITY, ECO- FRIENDLY SMART CITY, HUMAN CIRCULATORY AND RESPIRATORY SYSTEMS ,MATHS PUZZLES , PROJECT ON PYTHOGORUS THEOREM etc were displayed.Students stood beside their models, ready to explain how they worked.
*LANGUAGE ROOMS:*
Room no 4 was featured with literary displays in Hindi and English such as Article charts, Action words , Svar and Vyanjan tree etc...,focussing on the power and beauty of language .
*ART AND CRAFT ROOM:*
This colour full and aesthetic segment showcased the artistic excellence through a diverse collection of students's artwork. The displays included pencil sketches, watercolour paintings, thematic posters and craftwork. The arrangement reflected creativity and aesthetic sensibility, transforming the room into a visually appealing space.
*SCHOOL DRIVEN ACTIVITIES:*
The last room was projected with school driven activities from July to November.Videos and slides kept visitors engaged and informed. It became a relaxing and educational space.
*CONCLUSION:*
Overall, the exhibition proved to be a successful platform for students to showcase their talents and broaden their knowledge beyond the classroom.
The event came to a conclusion at about 2:30 pm with positive feedback from parents and community members .
Collectively, 320 people, including Staff ,Students, Parents & Community Members,witnessed the event.
