CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION 2025


 To commemorate the birth anniversary of  PANDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU 

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, RANGAT hosted a vibrant and memorable celebration on 14th November 2025 with joy and merriment. The entire school campus convened with a festive look.


*KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CELEBRATION:*

The day was marked with a spirit of warmth and joyous acknowledgement of the students, structured around the following significant events:

 *A GRAND WELCOME:*   

The morning commenced with a heartfelt welcome to all children by taking arati and applying Chandan , setting a personal and auspicious tone for the day.


*INAUGURAL CEREMONY:*

The formal proceedings were initiated by the HoI through symbolic lighting of the lamp, offering flowers and invoking blessings .

*ENLIGHTENING ADDRESSES:* 


The assembly included inspiring speeches, notably a powerful address by *Mr. ANAND RAO* who highlighted the significance of childhood and the students’ role as the nation's future. This was followed by eloquent speeches presented by students, who shared their aspirations and gratitude.

*CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA:* 

The cultural programme that followed was the highlight of the day. It included a variety of dance performances. Students from each class performed energetic and joyful dances. The dances reflected not only talent but also dedication and team work.

*COMMUNITY LUNCH: A SPECIAL GESTURE:* 

The celebration culminated in a highly anticipated Community Lunch. This special initiative was collectively organized by the teachers, students, and support staff ('bhaiya'),under the guidance of HoI , fostering a profound sense of unity within the school family.

*ATMOSPHERE AND CONCLUSION:* 

The school prayer hall, which was exquisitely embellished with bright balloons and fresh flowers, provided a perfect backdrop for the festivities. The celebratory atmosphere was palpable, characterized by infectious laughter and enthusiastic participation from every corner. The event successfully conveyed the institution's commitment in Cherishing its young learners concluding on a high note of collective joy and remembrance . A total of 160 students along with 20 staff witnessed the programme.















ARISE ! AWAKE! AN EXHIBITION ON SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

 *INTRODUCTION:*

 To commemorate the birth Anniversary of Ma. EKNATH RAMAKRISHNA RANADE, the founder of VIVEKANANDA KENDRA and the spirit behind the Vivekananda Rock Memorial Kanyakumari,

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT Organised the " ARISE! AWAKE!AN EXHIBITION ON SWAMI VIVEKANANDA & ART, SCIENCE AND CRAFT EXHIBITION & celebrated " SADHANA DIWAS" on 19th November 2025 at the school Premises.The event was inaugurated by the honorable Chief Guest Miss *ALEENA RAJAN* , Senior Veterinary Officer, Veterinary Hospital, Rangat.

Students from different classes worked for weeks to prepare their projects, and the final display reflected their hard work, imagination, and teamwork. .

*SALIENT FEATURES OF THE EVENT:*

The exhibition brought together models and artwork from Arts, Science, Mathematics, and Craft, making it a colourful and educational event for everyone who attended.

The Exhibition followed a room-wise setup, allowing visitors to experience each section smoothly. 

*SWAMI VIVEKANANDA'S ROOM:*

First Room featured with the portraits of Swamiji Vivekananda surrounded by stories and incidents from his life. The room created a peaceful and thoughtful atmosphere.

*MATHS,SCIENCE & SOCIAL SCIENCE SECTION:*

Rooms 2 and 3 sparkled with scientific curiosity and mathematical excitement.

Diverse working and non working models such as JAR PUZZLE, HYDRO ELECTRICITY, ECO- FRIENDLY SMART CITY, HUMAN CIRCULATORY AND RESPIRATORY SYSTEMS ,MATHS PUZZLES , PROJECT ON PYTHOGORUS THEOREM etc were displayed.Students stood beside their models, ready to explain how they worked.

*LANGUAGE ROOMS:*

Room no 4 was featured with literary displays in Hindi and English such as Article charts, Action words , Svar and Vyanjan tree etc...,focussing on the power and beauty of language .

*ART AND CRAFT ROOM:*

This colour full and aesthetic segment showcased the artistic excellence through a diverse collection of students's artwork. The displays included pencil sketches, watercolour paintings, thematic posters and craftwork. The arrangement reflected creativity and aesthetic sensibility, transforming the room into a visually appealing space.

*SCHOOL DRIVEN ACTIVITIES:* 

The last room was projected with school driven activities from July to November.Videos and slides kept visitors engaged and informed. It became a relaxing and educational space.

*CONCLUSION:*

Overall, the exhibition proved to be a successful platform for students to showcase their talents and broaden their knowledge beyond the classroom.

The event came to a conclusion at about 2:30 pm with positive feedback from parents and community members . 

Collectively, 320 people, including Staff ,Students, Parents & Community Members,witnessed the event.

 REPORT ON BHAJAN SANDHYA AT LORD HANUMAN TEMPLE RANGAT

ORGANISED BY:VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT .


On the propitius evening of 25 October 2025, VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT organized a spiritually uplifting event, Bhajan Sandhya at Lord Hanuman temple at about 5:45 pm. 

* The aim of this event was to unite the students, teachers and community members and to connect with the divine through devotional songs and music.

* The evening began with the auspicious lighting of the camphor taking blessings from the almighty.  

* The serene atmosphere was filled with devotion as the melodious voices of students, staff and invited parents presented a series of soulful bhajans dedicated to our Guru Omkar , Lord Krishna, Lord Rama, , and other deities. 

* Each performance reflected deep faith, harmony, and respect for Indian cultural values.

* The atmosphere was filled with divine energy and joy, leaving everyone with a sense of calmness and contentment.

* The Bhajan Sandhya concluded with Shanti Mantra and distribution of prasadam among all. 

* It truly reflected the school’s commitment to preserving moral and cultural values through such meaningful programs.

* A total of 35 People took blessings from the almighty .

GANDHI JAYANTI & LAL BHAGADUR SHASTRI JAYANTI


KARYA PADHATI: Gandhi Jayanti & Lal Bhagadur Shastri Jayanti Celebration

ORGANIZED BY: VIVEKANANDA' KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT 

OBJECTIVES: To pay homage to the great leaders & to inculcate Patriotic Fervour among children .

INTRODUCTION

On 2nd October 2025 at about 9:00 am, VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT commemorated the 156th birth anniversary of MAHATMA GANDHI & 121st birth anniversary of LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI JI with great joviality , Merriment & Patriotism.

The commemoration of began with lighting up the ceremonial lamp by the HoI and by all senior teachers. They also paid homage to the great patriotic souls by offering flowers.

SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE DAY

SPEECHES BY THE TEACHERS

Teachers also delivered inspiring speeches on the lives of Mahatma Gandhi by Miss SUDIPA MONDAL and Lal Bahadur Shastri by Smti M.SUDEVI ,emphasizing their ideals of truth, simplicity, self-reliance, and the slogan “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan.” The speeches motivated the students to follow the path of honesty, peace, and service to the nation.

RAM DHUN BY CHILDREN

The soulful rendering of  Raghupati Ragava Raja Ram.... by the children under the leadership of Miss Sweta Dey , our Music teacher filled the atmosphere with patriotic fervor.

PATRIOTIC SONG

A patriotic song performed by the children highlighted the values of simplicity and dedication towards the country.

CONCLUSION

The programme concluded at about 10 am with the offering of flowers under the portrait of great leaders by the children and sweet distribution. The whole programme was orchestrated by Mount Diavolo House. Altogether 40 people including 20 children and 20 staff witnessed the programme.

UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY CELEBRATION -2025


UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY CELEBRATION ON 11 SEPTEMBER 2025

On the auspicious morning of 11th September 2025,The Guests of our vidyalaya *Mann HANUMANT RAO ji* , *Susri  BVARSA didi  & Mann RAMACHANDRA VENUGOPAL Bhaiya along with SMC President ,*Shri Premananda Bachar*, PTA members , Students and Staff, celebrated the 132nd anniversary of  Swami Vivekananda' s historic Chicago address as UNIVERSAL BROTHER HOOD DAY with great zeal , Pride and enthusiasm.

*Inaugural Ceremony*

The programme commenced with welcoming the Guests and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a soulful invocation song. The HoI welcomed the Guests, & the gathering and reminded everyone of the values that Universal Brotherhood Day represents.

*Cultural activities*

The cultural performances that followed , brought color and energy to the celebration. Students presented speeches,performed dances & staged skits, each carrying a meaningful message of harmony and social awareness.

*Competitions:*

  As a part of UNIVERSAL BROTHER HOOD DAY celebration, various competitions such as quiz, Elocution , Drawing & Painting were also organized in prior , giving students a platform to showcase their knowledge and creativity.

*Felicitation ceremony*

Winners of the competitions were honored with certificates and prizes, motivating students to continue excelling in academics and co-curricular activities. 

*Speech by Mann HANUMANT RAO ji*

The highlight of the program was the inspiring speech by  *Mann HANUMANT RAO  Bhaiya*, who spoke about the importance of unity and discipline in building a strong nation. He also  asked the teachers to work harder to improve the academic performance of class X students in board exams.His words deeply touched the audience and motivated students to adopt these values in their  life. 

*Conclusion:*

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by *Shri  Anand Rao* one of our teachers,followed by Shanti Mantra & offering flowers.

Overall,The UB Day Celebration successfully combined education with entertainment, leaving a strong message of unity, knowledge, and responsibility. Altogether  214 people , including 3 Guests, 20 staff ,171 students  , 20  - Well Wishers, PTA , SMC &  members , witnessed the celebration.













VISIT OF MANN HANUMANT RAO JI, SUSRI B. VARSA DIDI & SHRI RAMACHANDRA VENUGOPAL BHAIYA

 *REPORT ON MEETING WITH MANN HANUMANT RAO BHAIYA, SUSRI VARSA DIDI & SHRI RAMACHANDRA VENUGOPAL BHAIYA*

On the morning hours of 7th September 2025, a special meeting was convened with Mann *HANUMANT RAO ji* ,  

All India Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra , *SUSRI B. VARSA Didi* Secretary, Vivekananda Vidyalayas, Andaman & with *Shri. RAMACHANDRA VENUGOPAL* Education Officer Andaman at School Auditorium, VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT.

* The objective of the meeting was to interact with teachers of our Vidyalaya and to discuss about holistic Progress Report .

* The meeting commenced with three omkaras & Santhi Path.

* First of all, the HoI welcomed the Guests. Followed by Desh Bakthi Geet " Seva ka Vrat Dhaara" , teachers introduced themselves.

* The real & interesting interaction began with Mann HANUMANT RAO ji with a thought provoking question " *Who is a Good Teacher?* 

* He asked everyone to share their views. Everybody shared their views/ opinions regarding the topic.

* Teachers were also acquainted with the three main principles of Swami Vivekananda such as *Controlling the mind, Behaviour Change and Love for Jagat Janani, India* He also guided the teachers with his valuable words about *" How to bring behavioural changes among children & staff in a positive way?* by highlighting Swami Vivekananda's famous quotation *" Character is repeated habits and repeated habits can alone reform the character"*. 

* As the meeting progressed , he highlighted the five characteristics of a good teacher ( Panch Prem Sutras) such a

*Love for Students*

*Love for Subject Matter*

*Love for Profession* *Love for Institution* *Love for Nation*

from the book *Rousing Call To Hindu Nation* and emphasised the importance of being a good teacher.

* After the interaction with Mann HANUMANT RAO ji, teachers were made aware of the correct method of filling the Holistic Progress Card (HPC) under the National Education Policy (NEP) framework by the respected Education Officer of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas, *Shri RAMACHANDRA VENUGOPAL* .

* Teachers were well versed & gained clarity about their broader role in the holistic development of the children and received a step-by-step approach to recording students’ progress in the holistic manner envisioned by the NEP.

* The meeting came to an end at around 12 noon with Shanti Mantra and Prarthana. A total of 17 staff benefitted.






TEACHERS DAY ON 5TH SEPTEMBER 2025

 *Report on Teachers' Day* 

On 5th September 2025, VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT celebrated Teachers' day, the birth anniversary of *Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan* , the great Educationist, Philosopher and the Second President of our Bharat,with Great Zeal and enthusiasm.

* The celebration commenced with lamp lighting & offering flowers by the HoI & all Staff.

* The most touching moment of the celebration was the felicitation ceremony.

*  Each teacher was invited on stage and presented with a bouquet as a  token of love, prepared by the students.

* A wonderful speech, highlighting the importance of the day was presented by one of our teachers *Mr.  PRASHANJIT DAS*  

* Children from Mount Thullier House, presented dance and sang Guru bhajans.

* To make the day more memorable &  fun, students organized a game  for the teachers. Teachers enthusiastically participated in musical ball passing , which filled the hall with laughter and cheer.

* It was a rare and beautiful sight to see the teachers enjoying themselves like students, while the students took the responsibility of organizing and hosting.

* Winners were felicitated by the HoI with valuable books.

* The Hol’s address was one of the most inspiring parts of the programme. In the speech, the HoI  emphasized the selfless service and dedication of teachers.  He reminded the  students that true respect for teachers lies not only in celebration but in following their teachings with sincerity.

* The celebration concluded with offering flowers by the children,  under the portrait of the great  Educationist, leader and the Philosopher.

* The whole programme was orchestrated by   *Mount Thullier House*

* A total of 15 teachers along with 149 students celebrated the event.

KENDRA VARGA FOR TEACHERS AS ON 2nd SEPTEMBER 2025

 

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT successfully organised  Kendra Varga  for teachers on 2nd  September 2025 at  about 2:45 pm in the school prayer hall with active participation of all teachers .The event proceeded   with usual prayer such as three omkaras followed by Eikkiya Mantra.

*Highlights of the event*

The event featured  with the following activities .

*Warm up exercises* 

Today's yoga session began with simple loosening exercises such as neck rotation, hip rotation & shoulder rotation.

*Pranayamas

After the warm up exercises  *Pranayamas* such as  *Bhramari* & *Anulom, Vilom* were practiced  under the demonstration of  MR. AIMANNAN ,PET & Smti BINDHU K didi.  Teachers practically experienced the benefits of doing these asanas

*Agya Abhyas*

Today's Agya Abhyas session was led by Miss SUDIPA MONDAL. Participants practiced some Aagyas such as Nischilo  Bhava, Susthito Bhava & Swastho Bhava  alongwith Dhakshin vallabham, Vaama Vallabham , Artha Vallabham  Kurut.

*Game session*

  To rejuvenate body and mind, teachers played a game named  *Akash, Dharti & Paatal*. It was conducted by Mr. SUMEET KR BISWAS & enjoyed by all.Naras were chanted before and after the game.

Desh Bhakti Geet

 A Desh Bakthi Geet *Rastra ki jai chetana ka ghaan....* was  lead by *S. INDIRA* didi  and followed by  all.

*Group Discussion*

In order to commemorate the inaugural anniversary of  *VIVEKANANDA ROCK MEMORIAL KANYAKUMARI* today's group discussion was based on the topic " "Challenges faced by Mann Eknath Ramakrishna Ranade ji in  the construction of Rock Memorial Kanyakumari" 

Today's session concluded at  around  3:30 pm with Santhi Mantra and Prarthana.

 Overall today's Kendra Varga was very useful and provocative as all the  teachers were acquainted with the information regarding Vivekananda Rock Memorial.

A total of 13 staff took part .
