BHAJAN SANDHIYA AT LORD SHIVA TEMPLE

On the auspicious evening of  28 th July  2025 , a  heartfelt Bhajan Santhiya was organized by VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT at  Lord  Shiv Temple . Parents along with their wards  gathered to participate in this soulful celebration dedicated to Lord Shiva.The temple premises were decorated with flowers, diyas, and the scent of incense filled the air, creating a serene and devotional atmosphere. 


The event began with a traditional prayer.The bhajans began soon after, with children  from class II onwards taking turns to present devotional songs in praise of Lord  Ganesh,Lord Shiva, Lord  Krishna , Guru Bhajans & Devi bhajan . Songs like "Om Namah Shivaya", " Shankara Shankara", &  " Hari Om  Hari Om Satyam Shivam " which was sung by  SHRI ASHOK BARLA  bhaiya, stirred the hearts of all present.

One of the most touching moments of the evening was when children performed a group bhajan, dressed in traditional attire, singing with devotion and innocence. Their performance  filled the atmosphere with joy and reverence.

The audience actively participated by clapping along with the rhythm and chanting Shiva’s name. The feeling of unity and peace was visible on everyone’s faces. The program concluded with a collective aarti, offered to Lord Shiva, followed by distribution of prasad to all the attendees. 

The Bhajan Santhiya at the Shiv Temple was not just an event, but a soulful experience that reminded everyone about  the power of music in spiritual life. It strengthened the sense of community, brought peace to the minds of many, and inspired a deeper connection with the divine. A total of 45 children , 15 parents & 15 staff took part in that Spritual Gathering.

KENDRA VARGA AS ON 26 TH JULY 2025

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT successfully conducted Kendra Varga for all staff and students on 26th July 2025 at about 1:30 pm ,with active participation from both groups . The session was organized with the aim of inculcating cultural values, discipline, and a spirit of togetherness among the participants.

The program began with usual prayer followed by loosening exercises & some asanas such as Tadasana,Vrukshasan & Artha Katti Chakrasan, which energized the participants and prepared them for the day’s activities. An enthusiastic game , " Gendh Pakkado, Khel Jitho" which was played & enjoyed by all . Naras chanted before & after the game echoed the hall & brought patriotic fervuor among children.A desh bhakti geet " Dharm ke liye Jiye Samaj ke liye Jiye " was lead by Smti K. BINDHU.

A short discussion based on the topic " Indian culture" was conducted, where both the staff and students shared their thoughts and experiences. Teachers guided the students with real-life examples, highlighting the importance of self-discipline in achieving academics.

The Kendra Varga game to end at about 2: 30 pm with Shanti Path, Prarthana & Avlokan. The whole program was lead by the PET under the guidance of the Principal. A total of 33 children from class IX & X along with 17 staff benefitted the program

KENDRA VARGA AS ON 16th JULY 2025

 

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT

 conducted Kendra Varga for teachers on 16th July at around 2:30 pm in the school premises which was lead by the PET Mr AIMANNAN under the guidance of Principal. Kendra Varga started with 3 omkaras, followed by badram karne & Eikkiya Mantra. During yoga abhyas, teachers began with Yoga varga with loosening exercises followed by Asanas - Tadasana & Vrikshasana and then followed by Aggya Abhyas . The game Akash , Dharti , Patal was played and Desh bakthi Geet - "Galat Mat kadam utao ".. .. A group discussion was conducted based on "Role of Teachers in Man Making and Nation Building. " followed by Prarthana.At last avlokan was carried out by Mr Sadha Nand sir. The whole program was informative especially the discussion was interactive giving many valuable insights to the teachers. Kendra Varga came to an end at around 3:30 pm. A total of 10 teachers were benefitted

GURU PURNIMA -2025

 VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT celebrated the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima  on 10 th July  2025 ,with great veneration, solemnity , and enthusiasm.

The programme began with the ceremonial lamp-lighting, accompanied by  soulful  invocation prayer such as three omkaras, followed by  Eikkiya Mantra

The HoI welcomed the Parents, SMC & PTA members, Teachers.  Students from  various classes  very enthuastically chanted Guru bajans such as, " Om Guru...., Mohe  laahi lagana  Guru...,  Guru Brahma roop jaano.... which glorified the role of the Guru, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere.

Smti . Binita Panna addressed the gathering with an inspiring message. She emphasized the importance of discipline, learning, and the deep respect that students should hold for their mentors throughout life. 

Meanwhile , Class X Toppers of  CBSE examination  2024 - 25  (Miss Jui Dutta - 97.8%, Miss Pratiksha Mandal - 95.6%  and Hemal Halder - 93.6%) were honoured with momentum. Subject toppers were also felicitated with momentum by Shri Kuladeep Paul, President, PTA.

The program came to an end with " Shanti Path" followed by the floral tribute to " Om Kar, our Primary & Spritual Guru"

The entire celebration was a soulful tribute to the Gurus and served as a reminder of their selfless role in nation-building and character development.

 The whole program was hosted by Smti Binita Panna. A total of 169 students , 17 staff  along with  school toppers & 5 Dignitaries  witnessed the event.







KENDRA VARGA FOR TEACHERS

 VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT conducted Kendra Varga for teachers on 5th July at around 2:45 pm in the school premises which was lead by the PET Mr AIMANNAN under the guidance of Principal. Kendra Varga started with 3 omkaras, followed by badram karne & Eikkiya Mantra. During yoga abhyas, teachers practiced Artha Katti chakrasan & Trikone Aasan followed by Naras, Ping- Pong game and and Desh bakthi Geet - Matru Bhoomi Gaan se.. .. A group discussion was conducted based on " Child Centered Education" followed by Prarthana.At last avlokan was carried out by the PET. The whole program was a collective retreat for the teachers which brought a clear vision among them. Kendra Varga came to an end at around 3:30 pm. A total of 12 teachers were benefitted.

SAMADHI DIWAS OBSERVATION -2025

 Swami Vivekananda attained Mahasamadhi on 4th July in 1902 at Belur Math at the age of just 39.To commemorate this day Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya RANGAT  solemnly observed the Samadhi Diwas (Mahasamadhi Day) of Swami Vivekananda, the great spiritual leader on 4th July  2025.The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp and floral tribute under the statue of Swami Vivekananda. This was followed by a collective prayer and chanting of " Bhuvana Mandale...." song from Padawali to invoke peace and inspiration. One of our teachers, Shri Sumit Biswas, shared a few words about Samadhi diwas among children. At last the observation came to end  with offering of flowers by children under the holy feet of Swami Vivekananda. The program was hosted by Mr. R. Sadhanand.A total of 162 students along with 16 staff witnessed the program.









VISIT OF AADARNEEYA VISHWAS LAPALKARJI

 Ma. Vishwas Lapalkarji, Paschim Bengal Prant Sangathak, VK Kanyakumari reached Rangat on 28th evening.A staff meeting was conducted with Ma. Vishwasji  on 30th June 2025.The main objective of the meeting was to review academic progress, discuss challenges faced by teachers, and plan for the upcoming academic examination. The meeting commenced with three om karas & with a warm welcome and an opening remark by the HoI, followed by the introduction of teachers . Ma. Vishwasji  asked the newly appointed teachers to share  their experience regarding Acharya Prashikshan Shibir and  other teachers also shared  their views.He discussed  about the four main objectives of the Shibir such as Educational technology, culture, organisation & inter- personal relationship.Teachers were acquainted with the importance of knowledge , skill & education and leadership , team spirit through motivational activities & stories of his experience .He also guided and motivated us how   to achieve our motto of flagship (Spoken English). He emphasized the importance of teamwork, open communication, and consistent efforts in achieving the shared goal of flagship.The meeting concluded on a positive note  with renewed motivation and a clear understanding of their roles in the collective progress of the school. A total of 13 staff were present in the meeting.On 1st July 2025, Man. Vishwasji conducted an activity based interactive session for children.  Children from class VI to VIII benefitted.

 CBSE RESULTS FOR CLASS     X - 2024-2025

 Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas always believe in enhancing pupils academic skills & fostering their Enthusiasm. The academic results for Class X have been announced, and we are proud to present the list of the top-performing students. Their dedication, consistency, and hard work have set a high standard for academic excellence.A total of 23 Students, appeared for the board exam. Overall 20 students got" First Division" &  secured marks between "60% - 97 %".Two students secured 100 marks.( JUI DUTTA in Social science & HEMAL HALDAR in Information Technology).The overall pass percentage is 100%.The Principal, Shri 
CH. Shanmuga  Rao , congratulated all the students for their success and thanked the teachers for their hard work and dedication.The Class X results reflect the hard work of students and the support provided by teachers and parents. We congratulate all toppers and wish them continued success in their academic journey.

VIDYAPRAVESH GRADUATION DAY AT VKV RANGAT

Vidyapravesh – The Sacred Initiation into Learning

Vidyapravesh (विद्याप्रवेश) is a traditional Hindu ritual that marks a child's formal entry into the world of education. It is a sacred ceremony performed before a child begins their academic journey, ensuring blessings from Goddess Saraswati (the deity of knowledge) and removing obstacles in learnings.

The NCERT Vidyapravesh program is a three-month play-based school preparation module designed for children entering Grade 1. It aims to provide a smooth transition from home or preschool to formal schooling by engaging children in experiential, activity-based learning.The Vidyapravesh program focuses on foundational literacy, numeracy, and socio-emotional development through structured activities. Observations are based on children's engagement, learning behavior, and responses during the implementation of the module.VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT successfully completed The NCERT Vidyapravesh program.Graduation Day  was celebrated on 1st March 2025. The program was inaugurated by the Principal. The tiny dots of Class I  were  graduated & awarded with certificates.The program came to an end with sweet distribution.A total of 19 children took part in that program. 











VARGAS AT VKV RANGAT

 VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT has been conducting  SANSKAR VARGA  twice in a Month for children studying from class I to V & KENDRA VARGA for children from Class VI to X. During these Vargas children perform some set of activities in a systematic manner. Sanskar Varg is a program that helps children develop their mental, emotional, and cultural well-being through learning Sanskrit mantras, prayers, and other activities. 

Chanting mantras: Helps children overcome speech impediments and build a positive sense of self 

Prayers: Helps children improve their pronunciation and understand Indian culture 

Activities: Includes interactive sessions, discussions about festivals and customs, and sharing stories .

SRI RAMAKRISHNA PARAMHANS JAYANTI 2025

 Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa Jayanti is an annual celebration honoring the birth anniversary of Sri Ramakrishna, a 19th-century Indian mystic and spiritual leader. His teachings emphasized the unity of all religions, devotion, and self-realization. This occasion is widely observed by followers, spiritual seekers, and institutions associated with the Ramakrishna Mission.

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT observed the birth anniversary of Shri Ramakrishna Paramhans on 1st March 2025 with full dedication and devotion.Class teachers explained about the importance of observing this day.Children paid homage to the great soul by offerings of flowers.

MATRU PUJA CELEBRATION 2025

 Maatru Puja, a sacred ritual dedicated to honoring mothers, was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm at VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT on 5 th February 2025.The event aimed to instill values of gratitude, respect, and love in children ,to  uphold the cultural tradition of honoring one’s mother as a divine figure by recognizing the selfless sacrifices of their mothers.Mothers of all participating students were invited, making it a heartwarming and emotional occasion.

Children performed the traditional feet-washing ritual, symbolizing respect and devotion.

They applied Tilak on their mothers’ foreheads and offered flowers as a mark of reverence.Vedic hymns and mantras were chanted, creating a serene spiritual atmosphere.Students were issued with admit cards after taking the blessings from all teachers & pandit ji.

The event concluded with mothers blessing their children, followed by a community lunch.The event was an overwhelming success, leaving a lasting impression on both students and parents. Many mothers became emotional, expressing their joy at being honored in such a meaningful way. The students learned valuable life lessons about gratitude, humility, and the significance of family bonds.Maatru Puja was a beautiful and inspiring event that reinforced the values of respect, love, and devotion toward parents. The celebration served as a reminder of the selfless sacrifices made by mothers and emphasized the importance of expressing gratitude in everyday life.

SARASWATI PUJA CELEBRATION - 2025


Saraswati Puja, dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the deity of wisdom, learning, and arts, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion  at  VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT on 3rd February 2025.The event was attended by students, teachers, and community members who gathered to seek the blessings of  goddess Saraswati.

The preparations for the puja began well in advance. The venue was beautifully decorated with flowers, rangoli, and traditional ornaments. A magnificent idol of Goddess Saraswati was placed in the center, surrounded by flowers &  lamps. Students actively participated in organizing the event, ensuring all arrangements were in place.


The Main Celebration of Saraswati Puja  commenced on 3rd February  with the chanting of Vedic mantras by the priest. Devotees offered flowers, fruits, and sweets to the goddess.Class X Students along with teachers sat for hawan Students placed their requests under the holy feet of Maa Saraswati by following the tradition of seeking her's  blessings for knowledge and wisdom.After the hawan, an aarti was performed. Prasad, was distributed among all attendees.At around  9:45 am Kichdi & sabji were distributed among all the devotee.The Saraswati Puja celebration was a spiritually enriching experience for all participants. It not only strengthened faith and devotion but also promoted cultural and artistic expressions among students. The event left everyone inspired to pursue knowledge and wisdom with dedication and sincerity.Near about 600 people,took part in the celebration.on the same day evening at around 5: 45 , Sandhya Aarati was performed for Maa Saraswati. In connection with that, bajan singing competition was also conducted. Children from different classes participated. Visarjan was on 5th February at about 11:45 am.On that day, class X children were issued admit cards after the rituals of Maatru Puja.
