KENDRA VARGA FOR TEACHERS AS ON 2nd SEPTEMBER 2025

 

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT successfully organised  Kendra Varga  for teachers on 2nd  September 2025 at  about 2:45 pm in the school prayer hall with active participation of all teachers .The event proceeded   with usual prayer such as three omkaras followed by Eikkiya Mantra.

*Highlights of the event*

The event featured  with the following activities .

*Warm up exercises* 

Today's yoga session began with simple loosening exercises such as neck rotation, hip rotation & shoulder rotation.

*Pranayamas

After the warm up exercises  *Pranayamas* such as  *Bhramari* & *Anulom, Vilom* were practiced  under the demonstration of  MR. AIMANNAN ,PET & Smti BINDHU K didi.  Teachers practically experienced the benefits of doing these asanas

*Agya Abhyas*

Today's Agya Abhyas session was led by Miss SUDIPA MONDAL. Participants practiced some Aagyas such as Nischilo  Bhava, Susthito Bhava & Swastho Bhava  alongwith Dhakshin vallabham, Vaama Vallabham , Artha Vallabham  Kurut.

*Game session*

  To rejuvenate body and mind, teachers played a game named  *Akash, Dharti & Paatal*. It was conducted by Mr. SUMEET KR BISWAS & enjoyed by all.Naras were chanted before and after the game.

Desh Bhakti Geet

 A Desh Bakthi Geet *Rastra ki jai chetana ka ghaan....* was  lead by *S. INDIRA* didi  and followed by  all.

*Group Discussion*

In order to commemorate the inaugural anniversary of  *VIVEKANANDA ROCK MEMORIAL KANYAKUMARI* today's group discussion was based on the topic " "Challenges faced by Mann Eknath Ramakrishna Ranade ji in  the construction of Rock Memorial Kanyakumari" 

Today's session concluded at  around  3:30 pm with Santhi Mantra and Prarthana.

 Overall today's Kendra Varga was very useful and provocative as all the  teachers were acquainted with the information regarding Vivekananda Rock Memorial.

A total of 13 staff took part .







BHAJAN SANTHIYA AT RAMPUR GANESH TEMPLE

 VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT orchestrated Bhajan Sandhya on the auspicious evening of 28th August 2025 at Shree Ganesha Temple Rampur with great devotion, serenity and enthusiasm. The entire temple premises were beautifully decorated with flowers and diyas, which created a divine and festive atmosphere Students, parents and devotees from nearby areas gathered to take part in the spiritual evening.The event commenced with offering flowers to the deity, the lord Ganesha, Gaja Mukha ,the remover of obstacles.Children and staff of our vidyalaya, sang devotional songs from Padawali which created a serene and spiritual atmosphere.


Many devotees also joined the chorus, making the atmosphere filled with devotion and positivity .The collective singing created a sense of unity and togetherness among all present. The devotees felt spiritually rejuvenated and experienced inner peace.As a token of love and gratitude, the temple committee of Rampur area, felicitated our vidyalaya children with gifts. At last , Prashad was distributed to all the devotees.The whole programme was organised on behalf of Rampur Vishthar.

A total of 125 people including 25 students,40 parents,15 staff & 45 community members witnessed the spiritual evening.

GANESH CHATURTHI CELEBRATION



To commemorate the birth of Lord Shree Ganesha, the God of knowledge and wisdom, the remover of obstacles,

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on 27th August 2025 with great devotion and enthusiasm. The program was organized in the school prayer hall to spread awareness about the cultural and spiritual importance of the festival and to encourage students to participate in traditional practices with joy and unity.

Hall arrangement

The hall was beautifully decorated with naturally available flowers and rangoli.The aroma of incense sticks and kapoor filled the air with spiritual ambience.

*Puja and Bhajans*

The celebration began with  traditional lamp lighting by the HoI. Staff performed the puja and aarti, chanted  hymns and offered prayers. The atmosphere was filled with devotion as everyone sang bhajans and clapped to the rhythm.As part of the program,a  house wise Bhajan singing competition was organised .

Students from  all the four houses presented instrumental music  of Lord Ganesha. Apart from that, interested children  also presented Ganesh bhajans.

A special story  was delivered by *Smti K.Bindhu*  Didi , our senior teacher,highlighting the significance of Ganesh Chaturthi, its history, and the message of wisdom and positivity associated with the festival.

Children from class wise offered flowers under the portrait of Shree Ganesha and took blessings.

*Prashad Distribution*

The highlight of the event was the distribution of prashad , Gheer and sweets, which are believed to be Lord Ganesha’s favourite. 

Conclusion:*

The Ganesh Chaturthi celebration in our school was a grand success. It not only created a spiritual atmosphere but also taught us values of unity, devotion, and cultural respect. 

The program concluded with the chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya”, filling every heart with joy and devotion. The whole programme was organised by *Mount Manipur House* & was hosted by Smti *K. BINDHU*

A total of 120     Children along with 17 staff took the blessing of lord Shree Ganesha.

KENDRA VARGAS FOR TEACHERS

In order to  bring holistic development among children , VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT conducted Kendra Varga on 23rd August 2025 at  about 1:30 pm in the school prayer hall. All the staff and children from class IX very enthusiastically took part in that event.

Highlights of the event

 Yoga Abhyas

 To warm-up and remove stiffness of our body, today's yoga session started with simple loosening exercises such as neck rotation, hip rotation & shoulder rotation.

* Followed by warm-up exercises, participated practiced some asanas such as *Trikone asana,Padahastasana &  Vajrasana which were demonstrated by the students. Yoga Abhyas created a complete platform for the development of Physical, Mental and Spiritual health of the children.

 Interactive Games

To improve strength, stamina and flexibility interactive games such as  *Overhead Ball Passing* &  *Ball Relay* were played and and benefited by all. Through these games children come to know about  responsibility and dedication,control and coordination, how to face success and failure gracefully .

*Patriotic song* 

A Desh Bakthi Geet *Nirmano ka Pawan Yug Me*  was  led by one student and followed by by all.

*Group Discussion*

A small group Discussion was held based on the topic *Five Fold  Development*  Children, very eagerly actively shared their opinions.

The event concluded with Santhi Mantra followed by Prarthana.

All the sessions actively were carried by the children under the guidance of teachers.

Overall the event aimed to develop   physical, mental, cultural, social, and spiritual health of the children—making them disciplined, confident, and rooted in values.A total of 17 staff along with 16 students reaped the benefits of the event.



KENDRA VARGA FOR TEACHERS AS ON 26 TH AUGUST 2025

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT carried out Kendra Varga on 26th August 2025 at  about 2:40 pm in the school prayer hall. All the teachers, very eagerly participated and enjoyed.

The programme commenced with usual prayer such as three omkaras followed by Eikkiya Mantra  which promoted unity and harmony and brought  inner peace and positivity among all.

*Notable features of the event*

 Warm up exercises

To prepare our body for physical activities and to decrease the risk of muscle strain, today's yoga session started with simple loosening exercises such as neck rotation, hip rotation & shoulder rotation.

*Yoga Asanas* 

In continuation of warm up exercises some yoga asanas such as  *Vrukshasan*&  *Tadasana*  were practiced by the teachers under the guidance of MR. AIMANNAN ,PET. Teachers were acquainted with the benefits of doing these Asanas.

*Agya Abhyas*

Today's Agya Abhyas was lead by Miss Sagorika Das. Participants practiced somes Aagyas such as Dhakshin vallabham, Vaama Vallabham , Artha Vallabham etc..

*Energetic Games*

*  The real enjoyment bagan with today's games session.Teachers played the game " *Leader Leader Change the Action.....* & enjoyed a lot. It was  really a rejuvenating one.

*Desh Bhakti Geet*

 A Desh Bakthi Geet *Nirmano ki Pawan Yug Me........*  was  led by *Bindhu Didi* and followed by by all.

*A short Group Discussion*

Today's Group discussion was based on the topic *List of activities under Five Fold Development* .

* Teachers very eagerly discussed about the topic and put forwarded their views.

Today's session came to an end at around  3:30 pm with Santhi Mantra and Prarthana.

On the whole, today's session was very informative ,interesting and rejuvenating one.

A total of 14 staff  harvested the benefits.

SWADHYAY FOR TEACHERS AS ON 19 TH AUGUST 2025


Our Vidyalaya organised  Swadhyay  for teachers on 19 th August 2025 in the school premises at about 2:45 pm. The event was initiated with three omkaras followed Shanti Path .

Sristi and Vyasti

* Under this topic Teachers were acquainted with the knowledge of inter connectivity, inter relativity and inter dependency of individuals and the whole universe.

Each soul is potentially devine 

* Under this topic Teachers come to know that no one is weak   by nature. Each soul/ every human being has infinite potential .

* Real education and spirituality tries to manifest the divinity within every individual .

No man is a sinner

It is believed that man is a sinner by birth. But today teachers were acquainted with the knowledge of "no man is sinner " and human  soul is eternal and immortal through Swami Vivekananda's  famous Chicago address based on the topic"Paper on Hinduism"

Veera Bhoomi      Bharatam

 Under this topic Teachers come to know about great Kings and their bravery.

The event  concluded with Kendra Prarthana.Altogether 16 staff were benefitted .

Overall the session was fruitful to all.By blending with Indian culture, teachers can nurture children who are knowledgeable and value driven.

JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION ON 16 TH AUGUST 2025


Introduction

Janmashtami, a celebration commemorating the birth of Bhagavan Sri Krishna was celebrated with great pomp, gaiety and enthusiasm at VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT on 16 th August 2025 in the School Auditorium.The event aimed to foster aimed to foster a sense of unity and cultural exchange.

Highlights of the event

Arrangement:

The school premises were adorned with vibrant and traditional decoration. The aroma of incense sticks and kapoor filled the air with spiritual ambience.The event was inaugurated with the traditional lamp lighting by the HoI and house masters followed by Gita Chanting.

Fancy dress competition

House wise fancy dress competition was organised for the tiny dots of Balvatika - I to class II . Children were dressed up as Lord Krishna & Radha.

Cultural activities

Students showcased their talents through various cultural performances including :-

Skit based Traditional dances

Short skirt based dances depicting the life of Lord Krishna were enacted by the children .

Bhajan singing competition

A Group wise Bhajan singing competition was held in which students from each house sang Krishna Bhajans , filling the atmosphere with spiritual ambience.

Conclusion

Krishna Janmashtami is more than a celebration — it is a reminder to live by the values of truth, love, duty, and righteousness. As Lord Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita:

"Do your duty without attachment to results, for this is the path to true peace."

Overall the whole celebration was organised by Saddle Peak House. A total of 90 students , 5 Parents and 20 Staff Witnessed the programme.








79TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

 On the early dawn of 15th August 2025, VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA RANGAT celebrated the 79 th independence day with Great Zeal,Pride and Patriotic Fervour.The School campus was beautifully decorated with naturally available flowers and the tricolours.All the blossoming buds of our vidyalaya and staff gathered at about 6:15 am.The celebration commenced with the Prabhat Pheri at 6:30 am and the surrounding was echoed with patriotic naras.

After Prabhat Pheri, in presence of the gleeful gathering the HoI unfurled the national Flag, a symbol of Bharat's Independence at 7:00 am and the entire gathering sang the National Anthem in unison, creating a powerful atmosphere of unity.

After the flag hoisting, various cultural activities took place in the school prayer hall.

 The event commenced with the patriotic song " Aarati Bharath Maata ki Jagat ki Bhagya Vidhata ki".  

Our Music teacher Miss Sweta Das sang one Desh Bhakti Geet which was inspired by all and stirred all. Miss Ankita of class VII spoke about India's freedom struggle.Students from secondary and middle Presented songs with patriotic fervor. Subsequently one of our teachers , Smti Binita Panna delivered a speech about the importance of the day.

 In order to make the event more impressive , interested students were allowed to express their views.They shared their thoughts on the value of independence and the responsibilities of citizens in building a better Finally ,solemn speech was given by the HoI,to pay homage to the brave martyrs of the country. He spoke about the importance of the day and asked all,to be the part of developing the nation. The celebration concluded with santhi Mantra. 

The whole programme was organised by " Saddle Peak House" and was hosted by Miss RIZA KHAN & ABHIJIT MONDAL .Overall 165 students along with 20 staff witnessed the event.
