GANDHI JAYANTHI CELEBRATION - 2023>

 Vivekananda  Kendra Vidyalaya

  

Rangat, celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Sastri Jayanti on  2^nd October 2023 in the morning in the school premises. The  Principal, Shri CH. Shanmuga Rao , paid homage and highlighted the contributions of the great

leaders. Miss Sushma Das (Teacher) delivered a speech about the Great Soul, Mahatma Gandhi. 

One of our student, Nithin Thankachan (C-IX)   delivered a beautiful speech  about "Mahatma Gandhi".All teachers  sang  Ramdhun.  Our Principal sang  Ram Bhajan & Patriotic song which was enjoyed by all. Students from avarious classes sang songs from padawali. At last students and staff offered flowers and sweets were distributed among them.

 

GANESH CHATURTHI CELEBRATION - 2023>

 Vivekananda Kendra vidyalaya, Rangat celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great pomp and gaiety.

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, 

the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. The festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Ganeshotsav.

The session started with a traditional lamp lighting and Aarthi. Children performed devotional bhajans. The Principal, Sri  CH.Shanmuga Rao said  that one should not forget the culture, tradition and importance of celebrating festivals. Kyna Haldar and Diti  Sahay from Class IV performed a devotional dance, and  Akshra from Class IV also performed a dance. Students and staff offered flowers and prashad was distributed among all.
